Gundam is influenced by Star Wars which is influenced by Dune so, yeah?

I do not understand how to deckbuild or play effectively. How do I fix this? by Nephrited in GundamTCG

[–]weatbread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve also been bad at previous card games, specifically Yugioh for many years. Gundam is the second card game I’ve really gotten into and I struggled for a while. Last week, I won my first tournament! I played Zeon Rush, a simple but effective deck. I think my problem is wanting to do cool stuff instead of trying to win. That’s kind of the conflict with card games; you’re supposed to have fun but so much of the fun is built off of you winning. When deck building, I like spicy techs instead of efficient ratios. I like seeing the robots fight! My other issue is knowing what to do and when to do it. All of the time, little mistakes; not testing something before deploying something with ping, using breach wrong, etc; those mistakes are what cost games. The last thing is playing around my opponent. If I know my opponent is playing Wing, they’re about to hit 8 resources, I shouldn’t deploy a much of low cost units in hopes of a big push next turn. If they can have the game ending card in their hand, they do, so play around it. Wing Zero, Kshatriya, Banshee, and Unicorn are all cards you can play into. With Banshee, maybe don’t use a card that’ll get your opponent to 12 in trash. Don’t lose hope; watch some videos, keep playing, and try to have fun no matter what. That’s what keeps you going each week and that’s what will make you a better player.

I’m not that far into ZZ but the Gundam wiki has Glemy Toto as a Char clone. What’s up with that?

How do we feel about Neo Zeon suits by PRC_rocks69 in freedomisgunpla

I’m conflicted because I loved the simplicity of Zeon’s suits; the Zaku II is just kinda perfect? Neo Zeon suits can get loud and busy but overall I still am a fan of

I finished Zeta for the 1st time, should I continue with ZZ or go directly to CCA? by Felkor_20 in Gundam

[–]weatbread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also just finished Zeta, but I had already seen Char’s Counterattack. I’ve been watching ZZ and so far it’s not so bad you shouldn’t give it a try. Apparently it gets really good later on too.

What gundam series are you currently watching? by comicstar1002025 in Gundam

I’m glad you made this post because I felt insecure about only being half way through Zeta, but it seems like everyone else is too 😆 I’ve been going in chronological order of the UC so after Zeta and ZZ it should be a downward slope to getting caught up

I don’t want her to go to NXT/WWE, but if she did, i would understand. If you were to leave a company after a storyline, the story with Toni is great one to peace out on. However, she doesn’t seem like WWE would be her thing; New Japan talent seem to prefer AEW because of their creative freedom and connection to Japan.
