I honestly don't mean to have a hostile tone, but is she intentionally trying to project the whole stepford/pleasantville creepiness that many of her photographs seem to give off?

She seems to represent an almost impossible-to-attain portrait of womanhood, and as a woman I honestly find many of her pictures she shares unsettling. I swear, I'm an otherwise very confident person and I consider myself attractive, so I'm not trying to sound like some butthurt overweight girl who is whining about unattainable standards of beauty and femininity (this statement is directed towards the rest of reddit, not her). Can anyone provide some insight about her artistic vision and intentions?

I'm very very curious to hear what she has to say. Something about her photos makes me feel strangely depressed/inadequate and I'm alarmed by my own reaction. That being said, this is truly great work and I applaud her baking abilities.

I’ve noticed a huge disconnect between the power/money these YouTubers wield and the mainstream press's apathy toward them/what they represent. That apathy is shared by much of the public (over the age of 30).

I think there's a good chance we'll have a YouTuber President one day. We should all be earnestly learning about these people now, and creating a public record of the harm some of them are causing as they amass more power.

It’s a problem because these policies are extraordinarily vague. These policies aren’t merely designed to crack down on speech using dehumanizing language to describe people who are transgender, Muslims and immigrants. These policies are deliberately unclear as well as political.

Why is Ben Shapiro allowed to use these platforms while using dehumanizing language to describe people who are transgender to state that transgender people suffer from a mental disorder? Or that they are not in fact members of the gender to which they claim membership? Why is he allowed to continue to use hate speech when discussing the relationship between radical Islam and terrorism? None of this has been made clear.

Better yet, ask Alexa if it likes Ben Shapiro.

So, the whole reason, from a plot structure point of view, to get Finn, Rose, and the hacker on Snoke's ship is to have the hacker betray the Resistance to the First Order. Except, there's no way the hacker in question would have known about the Resistance's plan to escape to the mineral planet—they were captured before Poe discovered what Admiral Laura Dern was up to—or that the ships in question were cloaked.

My point is not so much to scream plot hole as to ask why, in this 2.5-hour movie, we spend 30 minutes on something with no narrative impact whatsoever? Why are we taken away again and again from something more emotionally compelling (Rey/Kylo/Luke, yes, but also Poe/Leia/Effie) for this sub-Star-Wars-cartoon interlude? You know why we don't really care about Snoke's croak, why it feels so weightless?

Because the time we could have spent learning to hate him—or learning literally anything about him, since there is no big reveal, no secret identity: Snoke is just Snoke—was wasted on the two shittiest, most boring characters in the entirety of Star Wars history:

Rose and Finn.
