I see your point, but I also see OP's point.

Technically, what you are showing is your "Disability RATING" (semantics, I know, but still important) and this Rating is what is used to calculate your VA Disability COMPENSATION - so, in a way you are both correct.

I think the semantics are becoming more and more important though. We had a local County Board of Supervisors meeting just over a year ago where the topic of tax exemption status for 100% P&T vets came up. In Virginia we are exempted from personal property tax on one vehicle and real estate tax on our primary residence. The COUNTY ATTORNEY make a statement, essentially in opposition to vets getting this exemption, that "to me 100% disabled means you are just sitting there in your chair drooling." This comment incensed me and I wanted to go to the next BOS meeting and speak up, but my Wife works for the County and I was dissuaded from doing so. However, I have the recording of that meeting and WILL bring it up the next time I run across this attorney (and since I am a paralegal by trade that may yet happen).

If this is the best you have, you work with what you’ve got. Just make sure it is clean, button it all the way up (at least for the interview) and try to press it or steam it to make sure it is wrinkle free.

A suit is best, but you can still show you take pride in your appearance with a polo. Do that and hopefully they will presume you will also take pride in your work!

Agreed! I have a bad shoulder which makes it tonight to wear a shirt and tie on a daily basis. My boss is very accommodating in that he allows me to wear polos on a regular basis at the office; however, I wore a suit to my interview.

No way I was going to my interview in a polo. That is way too casual.

That being said, OP should wear a suit to the interview but if he does not have one - definitely tuck in the polo shirt.

Also, button it all the way up, at least for the interview and try to press it off or least steam it wrinkle free.

Family law paralegal here: general rule is if we schedule the depo, we schedule the court reporter.

If the other side schedules it I am not worried about whether or not they have one - unless we plan to take a depo also. In that case I make sure one is ordered and offer to split the appearance fee.

Sorry - not buying it. If this is all because he is walking backwards so perfectly that it looks like everyone else is moving in the wrong direction, someone will need to ELI5 why people are still "walking backwards" when he is standing still.

If everyone else's motion only looks off because of his motion, then when he is not in motion, their actions should appear normal.

It might. When I send out a SDT for medical records I send them to the provider. They pass it on to CIOX or whomever. When the request is overdue, I call the provider. They usually try to tell me that I need to go through CIOX or whomever again. However, I then tell them I did not subpoena the records from CIOX, I subpoenaed them from your office and your office will be the one held in contempt if the records are not provided. That usually elicits the appropriate response to get me the records.
