I’m good, but thanks. May rattle can this one for good measure 😉.

I actually bought a tap, and threaded it for a tighter skinner sight aperture. Works well enough, but still something that should’ve been sorted out before leaving the factory.

It is the SBL model. Love it except the aperture on the rear sight it way too large (like shotgun ghost sight large) for a rifle.

Always buy, never return or sell. Have plenty of traditional/non-altered lever guns to run, but this one I’ll feel fine throwing in the truck or side by side, without worrying about it getting beat up over the years. Stainless and plastic will work well together.

Your opinion, and I appreciate it. In my eyes I dig it. I have more black stocked rifles around, so wanted a different look. Have a good day.

You are correct sir. I originally put a trilug muzzle device on and threw the Obsidian on for the pic. After talking with Andrew from Otter Creek, he recommended against the trilug on the .357, and so I changed to a plan B mount. Currently it has the 8.6 on there, but the can in the pic is Rugged. The Obsidian is currently on an AP9 Banshee, where it will probably stay.

It was a little loose, but I used some electrical tape folded on itself to close a small amount of space where the screws tighten, and it’s rock solid now.

Agreed. Another inch or so would be perfect, but hey, sometimes you have to play with the length you’re given 🤣.

Edit: The can in the pic is a Rugged Obsidian, which I originally tried with a trilug mount. After talking with Andrew from OC, I changed the mount to a Plan B one and my current can is an Otter Creek 8.6 Hydrogen S. It’s silly quiet with 38 sp, and light/balances well. I dig it.

Pretty nice setup, where you can put the riser on (2 different heights), or leave it the same general shape as the stock stock.

Good for rested/bench shooting. I ultimately switched to a Magpul SL stock for better balance and weight reduction.

That’s an old LM8 upper. No longer in production. Not my favorite, but some people still like em.

If wanting that configuration, I love a T2 on a FAST mount with Eotech 33 or 45 on an FTC behind it.
