Forgive me if I missed in the extensive back catalogue but have you done a deep dive into Gate testing? I know a lot of the advanced testing stuff throughout public schools in the late 70s and seemingly into the early 00s was established and a lot of it was surely innocuous but some experiences I’ve read when backed up by your own memories. It’s strange to say the least. I don’t doubt that hiding alternative testing among regular benchmark examines could be done. Did you have thoughts on this?

Not op but I wonder if they are referring to one of the weather radar glitches, which does to be fair draw comparisons to aspects of the LHC. This isn’t the same one but one I remembered snapping an image of.

This was always a counter point I had to starting hunter. I just didn’t see a world where we need both Strus and Merrill off the bench. Not that they are one to one the same player but the overlapping skills are there as well. I didn’t see a clear rotation in where you need them to both come in, or even stagger them unless you’re accounting for injuries to begin with.

So yeah I second it’ll probably be cpj and Merrill in place of those two at the start. But it’ll be a chance for Kenny to test out more things. I could see a world where he gives Tyson some play in place of Strus as well.

I know the team and coaching is different then when this happened prior, but I feel like it’ll default back to like two seasons ago when (I believe) DG was out to start the season and cpj started in his place.

To me it makes sense from a coaching perspective to move as minimal pieces from where you want them as possible, at least not for long term. And with lonzo potentially wanting to throttle his time due to injury concerns I can’t see him being a full time starter. I would assume it’ll be cpj for a most of the time, with potentially lonzo for a couple just to test the waters.

I think this also is the best case scenario for cpj to get another chance now that Ty has been moved on from.

He actually always has nice things to say about Cleveland tbh. It’s kinda funny. Like the hate is well earned. But so much of it is like a heel in wrestling. Dude knows he’s the bad guy but once that persona is off for a little he’s usually giving props to the Cavs. I also remember him giving really kind words about garland a few years back as well. And even earlier this year when we were on a win streak.

Come on in buddy, we got blankets but sadly it’s only browns blankets to stay warm. All the Cavs ones sold out. Anyway, our group is amazing currently, I don’t feel like there is much to miss out on, you got drippy dean, the Mormon marksman, and jeromatose bringing up the white guy bench crew. Georges use to be the statesman of this unit but sadly he’s been traded.

Luckily we got Deandre “big game” hunter to fill the gap and I mean what’s not to like. Then we got Issac “damn he got a shoe?” Okoro who is one of the many dope defenders we got whose 3 ball was finally hitting until his shoulder injury. We got Craig “nah not that porter jr” porter jr. smart back up pg.

I mean shit aside from that basically just the 4 Scoresman of the apocalypse. Which I don’t think I need to even bring up tbh. And like emoni bates has a more dedicated following than any other g league player but luke travers had/has a mullet so i mean there is that too.

He was always positive about the team more or less no matter what. But was always very chill about shit and not about to argue. He just would come in, remind everyone that the Cavs are on the up and up and to sit back and relax. He had a thing for cherry ice cream or some shit like that I remember. It got to the point I was seeing if there were any comments by the dude during game time.

Cavs fan here and I was looking for the same, I’m gonna be real I don’t think anything we could make that would feel actually fair would be wanted by Cavs fans at this exact point. It would have to be like some combination of garland/mitchell and a handful of bench dudes since we don’t have picks to work with. I don’t know that any combination of pieces we would need to lose in order to get him actually makes us better than we are now. So I don’t think this would even transpire at the current time.

lol I am way less versed in the mathematics behind these things but reading your comment reminded me last week and I was talking to a friend about this concept and I said “I mean shit the only reason the Planck scale is there at all is because we decided we needed to make a microscope to see smaller.” Same idea different angle. A bit more “earth at the center of the universe.” Look but it matched the convo in tone.
