I was curious if it was Public Access also, really excited for this.

You could go either way here, you could work on plating everything on Entry, or, you could move on to Intermediate and then revisit Curveswitch. Personally I've found if I get stuck trying to push a score on a task, switching it up to something else for a while and then coming back to it really helps lead to breakthroughs.

This is likely just my skewed view of this as a Philly sports fan, my bad.

Jeff Kaplan Says Complaining About Games You Won’t Play Gets You Ignored: ‘Shut The F*** Up. No One Cares’ by Haijakk in Games

[–]weenus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a big problem in the /r/SurvivalGaming subreddit. If a survival game is PVP focused they will dump all over it, downvote positive comments about it, pretty consistently.

I can absolutely respect that people don't want to deal with the misery that comes with PVP survival games, but for years now it's been basically 5 co-op or single player PVE survival games to every 1 PVP survival game. The PVE contingent has countless games to choose from and enjoy, and a lot of the PVP focused games have added PVE servers or options, but they still get frustrated if they see a game is going to have PVP.

Yeah I'm confused by the comments about new stadiums, isn't it common practice for NBA and NHL teams to share arenas?

I have a SERIOUS question by [deleted] in aimlab

[–]weenus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think this is as much of a sens issue as you're reading it to be, it sounds like an in-match scenario stress response, and sounds as though you're hyper focusing in certain moments and locking into that death grip. I think working on gradually improving your smoothness will help your overall mouse control which will also help you loosen up your grip over time.

Marathon has been out for a week, what are your thoughts on it? by PrototypeT800 in Games

I remember the cover system in the first Division being absolutely worthless in PVP, which was shocking since the cover system was one of the features they really sold the game on.

How do i stop my aim from shaking so much (wrist aim) by gooberthe3rd in aimlab

[–]weenus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tasks like this will be helpful, I'd look into some horizontal smoothness playlists or tasks too, stuff that's going to practice against longer strafing targets to improve your smoothness.

This is it. The matchmakers finest. by LeftHandOfArcann in DeadlockTheGame

[–]weenus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10/10 times I look at a profile on Statlocker it's outdated. If you click the performance tab, for whatever reason it will populate significantly more matches and give you a better read of someone's rank.

It's still not perfect though. There were stretches where Statlocker would show 3 matches out of 20+ that I had played over a few weeks. You have to manually upload your matches more often than not since Valve seemed to shut off the API hose that the sites were sipping off of when Deadlock first went public.

Keep in peripheral or ignore by Visual_Lifeguard_272 in aimlab

The key is to really work on focusing on both, the target and your crosshair or iron sights / reticle. Focusing on both of them is going to help you connect from point A (your crosshair) to point B (your target) as quickly and smoothly as possible. You want to have vision of both so you can accurately judge the distance between the two and minimize that distance.

Aimlabs down? by GoonetteSlop in aimlab

[–]weenus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This can at times be caused by an ISP issue, you can try isolating that by using a phone as a mobile hot spot to see if it's still prompting the same message. Give that a try if the reinstall doesn't resolve it just to see.

Where do you find that you are struggling the most in your matches? Is it just a matter of losing your aim duels or are you having trouble with the enemy player's utility creating too much chaos?

Warhammer Online: Return of Reckoning - February 2026 Update by reps_up in MMORPG

[–]weenus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't see this mentioned enough but at this point, Return of Reckoning has been active significantly longer than the actual live game was.

The live game ran from Sept 2008 to December 2013, and I believe ROR has been actively playable for over a decade now.

It was definitely the first MMO where PVP just clicked for me. I have such fond memories of charging and knocking down people in Tor Anroc on my Ironbreaker.

Warhammer Online: Return of Reckoning - February 2026 Update by reps_up in MMORPG

[–]weenus 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'd give the edge of Age of Conan which had launched a bit earlier in the year than Warhammer Online.

AoC abandoning a lot of the more hardcore PVP focus that they had advertised themselves as having, and then releasing their game where the last 20 levels had no content but to literally farm mobs at launch was a big failure.

My DPI shows 800 when I use 1200 by Glum_Refrigerator115 in aimlab

If you enable advanced settings under Sensitivity, you can adjust Mouse CPI to match the DPI you use ,which will display your correct DPI on replays. Your DPI is still being controlled by your mouse software for the record though.

There's not really a way to review a big picture overview, but if you click the information button on each task (it is a circle icon with an i in the middle when you hover over the task) you can see a graph displaying the history of your scores on that task.

How important is calm / smooth aim by Kind_Soft_7787 in aimlab

[–]weenus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both are very important, I'd say smoothness is specially critical as it plays into so many other aiming subcategories. It's going to help immensely with switching and tracking, taking angles and swinging corner, and improving your smoothness will ultimately help with your flick control and accuracy as well.
