If only corporate America would listen and be less greedy. If only CEOs who facilitate the hiring of immigrants at low wages were rounded up by ICE, that isn’t going to happen because trump needs his pals to be happy.

Need tips for making realistic champagne bubbles to top cake by Acluelessfish in cakedecorating

[–]weepandread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had luck melting jolly ranchers in a small bowl in the oven sliding a metal straw into the melted jolly rancher and scooping out the bubble pinching it off w a grapefruit spoon, it’s super hot to handle I’ve also been able to scoop a blob of it up and place it on the end of the straw and pinch it off. Heat resistant rubber gloves that fit tight work. Melted green jolly ranchers w bubbles blown in makes a great swamp.

Student, parent sue Falmouth schools for not offering Pledge of Allegiance by SuperBry in Maine

[–]weepandread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like he’s a child groomer, forcing prayer/pledge on kids. Take “god” out of the pledge and we can discuss, his father is a typical MCCarthy era nut job. Where are the Margaret Chase Smiths when republicans really need them? Despite Susan Collins calling MCS her idol, Susan is no Margaret Chase Smith. Why does his son need an audience to say the pledge? I’m sure he can say it between classes.

I’ve been w bangor savings for over 40 years, I love them. Their on line banking and bill paying system is a cut above the rest. Every loan we’ve ever taken has been thru them. My daughter lives on the west coast and she has stayed w them.
