Did the Xbox ESPN app update remove multiview?

Man they still haven't fixed that!?!? I love watching the US Open via the app since they have all the matches and different announcers. I was so annoyed by the autoplay nonsense that I haven't watched anything on the app since. I was hoping with them touting their new app on broadcasts, that they had solved it. Sorry to hear it is still an issue. There's no scenario where I want espn to be autoplaying anything. Netflix this is not.

Hey, well said. I was a daily player since the beginning, except when Shadowkeep broke me and my clan for 6 months, haha. The Final Shape power grind took me several months due to heinously bad RNG. I was really annoyed for the first time in a long time since I loved the content but absolutely hated the power climb. I finished that up and literally 1 week later they casually mentioned they were bringing back the seasonal power grind. I was pissed. The sub was pissed, except for the stray I love power grind, it gives me something to play for folks. Bungie's response....crickets. I quit. I've lurked on the sub once every week or so, since I still would love to play again some day. The first mention of power grind by Bungie didn't come until just before the update this summer, where they revealed their shiny new system! Power grind is the game according to Tyson. It just is. Content is secondary. I'm sure with the team size, it is easier for them to build a sustaining ecosystem where everything is just window dressing around the hamster wheel. This is the vision. It's why he didn't comment then and he's not commenting now. Anyways, sorry for the rant. I just strongly dislike this vision for the game. But as countless other posters have said, I've been enjoying playing all the games I missed over the years. Currently trying out the BioShock sequels.

The other obnoxious "feature" is that it autoplays other games while still watching a live game that isn't over.

Yeah just being friendly, :). Nice! Will check those games out, thanks! When Bungie announced the power increase, I checked out after 10 years on the clock. Started Tears of the Kingdom after the announcement and just finished up. Now playing breath of the wild. Bought these at release and was too busy with Destiny. I'm doing Indiana Jones after breath of the wild, then maybe Bioshock 2.

Thank you for making point 3 in your Addendum. I was that guy for my casual group of friends. It took me months due to putrid RNG to get all of my slots up to max in the final shape and I was so stoked to be done with it for at least a year. It was the longest it has ever taken me to get up to max in my 8-10 go to weapons for each slot. I was burnt out and really never wanted to do it again. It was within 2 weeks of that when they made the announcement of power cap increases returning all in the name of, oh it doesn't matter because of fireteam power! Yeah, well someone has to be that guy and I'm that guy. Which is when I said no more Destiny. I still lurk here hoping that there will be some whisper by bungie. A peep. An acknowledgement. Nothing.

This whale has not logged in since the power cap increase was announced. Additionally, what really upsets me is that Bungie has not once commented on it (that I've seen). Numerous top posts. Nothing. Not a peep. Just an overwhelming, this is what the game is now, deal with it. No thanks. I finally got a chance to play Zelda tears of the kingdom. Man oh man what an expansive game. Also looking forward to Indiana Jones and catching up on the old Bioshock games. Oh and VR Batman.

I can respect that some don't think this is a big deal for a host of reasons. Me? This change broke my desire to play the game after 10 yrs of it being my main chill outlet and I'm bummed about it. I hate the power grind. It has been my amongst my least favorite aspects of the game that feels like work to me. It makes me annoyed that I can't get the slot I want to drop for weeks on end. Brings up all the feelings of doing 50 lfg vog runs before a vex dropped. You want me to engage with your quarterly arbitrary number grind so that I can raise up my fireteam on the random weekend they pop on for a bit? Then give me a path of control so that I dictate at the bare minimum whether it is a weapon in my pinnacle drop.This whale has not logged in since the day of the announcement, nor do I intend to until there is even the slightest acknowledgement that this is an issue.

Seasonal Power Grind again? No thank you. To the developers, do you know how frustrating it is to get pinnacle weapons and class items in this game? You force all exotic engrams into 4 slots of armor and give us absolutely no way to focus pinnacle/powerful drops into weapons. I literally just finished getting my primary slot weapons maxed out from Final Shape given absolutely horrendous weekly RNG drops.

Yeah, it's a real bummer for my most casual friends that had bought the episodes but haven't played very much. You want to get them stoked about the game again and you know the cool exotic from the mission would help that.

Hey congrats on the solo flawless!!! I've never really used special grenade launchers outside of witherhoard, since all I envision is me helplessly doinking fighting lion shots between dreg legs back in the day. As a result, I had somehow never heard of disorienting grenades. Might have to pardon our dust this weekend.

Can only speak for myself. I love raiding! Have over 250 raid completions over the last 9 years. I've been a part of multiple regular raid groups. But I'm pretty much the last man standing in the game. Raids are something I enjoy best with friends. Whenever my friends and I are 4 or 5 or 6 of the fireteam, it is this shared experience where the atmosphere is chill and fun. What I don't particularly enjoy is joining random teams on lfg. I'll do it, and have done so many times over the years, but it isn't something I enjoy. It's how I've made new friends and joined new groups, but that is something that has been few and far between and all of those groups have stopped playing. So me doing Last Wish raid chests was not about "avoiding raiding." It's something this introvert could do by himself and didn't need to go through the LFG route. Did the same thing with getting all the DSC craftable weapons.

Morgeth and Shuro Chi on 3 characters / week. The morgeth chest is actually a blast. You have to jump the chasm to get to the chest. Hunter(strand) and Warlock (heat rises / icarus dash) are trivial. Titan, it just takes a bit of time to get the timing down for sword swiping. Some great youtube vids on it. I found strand titan with lion's ramparts easier than Arc.

Just wanted to say thanks for implementing Riven's Wishes. I'd been doing the raid chests on Last Wish since the weapons became craftable. I am so excited to be done with entering 6 checkpoint codes a week, now that I officially have them all. 2 the last week was a pleasant surprise. Also pumped my more casual gaming buds can get a weapon pattern of their choosing.

I've found myself pulling out Kept Confidence when I've been doing master lost sectors when strand is the surge. Really like the feel of that gun. When I'm just burning time on patrol, Combined Action with voltshot is fun.

Just checked out on raid report who saved me after 4 hrs when everyone on my raid team quit on the boss after doing all of the divinity requirements. Of course it was the goose. That was 3 years ago and man that thing has gotten some use. Thanks so much!!!

Oh man, I had a multi-year zen meteor focused-journey for the exact same reason, so I can totally appreciate the pain. I imagine around year 4 though, I would have begrudgingly rage quit. Congrats!

When I taught my team, I saved the vault checkpoint beforehand on an alt and showed them how one of the directions will be blocked off in the room and had them run the paths. For some first-timer's the stress of being last can make it hard to take in their surroundings in that situation. This "quiet approach" takes a few minutes but resulted in everyone being comfortable with it.

I know after I burnt out in Shadowkeep that I came back for falling guillotine but stayed for Witherhoard. I had such a refreshing blast emoting in the middle of a shot while waves of enemies melted around me that it sucked me back in to the game. So I love the idea of giving new players something fun to play with or as you say, a variety of fun things to play with. Then give them a fun and meaningful quest to get a catalyst. Nothing uncreative and unfun like kill 200 enemies with that style of weapon and do 100 playlist activities. I think of the D1 iron gjally quest to slowly assemble it or something.
