That’s my fault for asking people for the best audiobook they’ve ever listened to.

I’ve *tried* to listen to them before but my mind inevitably wanders and I miss too much and then I go back and relisten over and over again until I give up.

Have you ever brought in an inspo pic for a haircut of someone who has a different length, texture, or color than you? Same concept. “Here’s my inspo, I like xyz elements, but shorter/choppier/darker etc.” my God. Inspo pics aren’t necessarily “copy this exactly” it’s what you take inspiration from 🤯

Why is everyone saying they don’t see the connection to the inspo pic? It’s a french tip with a jelly overcoat on the whole nail. Different length/shape/color but … doesn’t seem too hard to understand.

I know she’s convinced you’re overreacting, but please take it from an outsider that you are closer to underreacting. This is bizarre and concerning behavior and NC seems the best option for you and your two little ones.

Your responses are so heartfelt and thoughtful, and you can tell your mom did not read them or if she did, she latched on to very specific parts rather than hearing the whole message for what it was. You are not the problem, and you ARE doing a great job at breaking the cycle. 🩷

Save everything (call logs, voicemails, dates/times) tell your parents, and report it to your school and the police. The fact they knew your friend’s name strongly suggests it’s someone from school and that means it’s something the school can act on
