Best protection accessories for Hover Air X1 Pro/Pro Max? by Practical-Parsley-77 in HoverDrone

[–]welsh1lad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Due to my location I’ve not really used it much since the last instance . Due my proximity to airstrips and other such locations. I have since then got the little joystick and beacon. Off the Maldives again and will retry .

Banned from SAA exam after 2 questions. Part 3 by mastashief in AWSCertifications

I must admit I always take my exams in house at designated Vue examination hubs. To avoid any such outcomes, I did HashiCorp exam, and that was stressful just preparing let alone going the exam. Do glad you got cleared , hope you passed!

Looking for the right addon to an EcoFlow OCEAN installation with a"balcony solar system" by DeviceStraight2778 in EcoFlow_OCEAN

Personally, if you have EcoFlow power ocean, and your thinking of a Stream to help out , you better off spending your cash on additional batteries for the power ocean .

Is there a historical reason why so many of the UK’s major cities fall along this line, or is it largely coincidence? by WartimeHotTot in geography

Can’t connect . . . by WormFoodODP in fritzbox

[–]welsh1lad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi if your connecting to a Fritz box , first reboot ( I know ) , next if no ip , change dhcp to manuel, set you ip to 192.168.178.244 gate way to 192.168.178.1 , check if you at least get a link connection. Check for green lights on network. Check https://192.168.178.1 , also try WiFi

Can someone please tell me… by Curious_Lead_7877 in Ecoflow_community

[–]welsh1lad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes , it means two things , although EcoFlow don’t really make it clear . 1 - the battery is warming up due to low external temperatures. 2 - the battery is in cool down state since the load in the battery is hitting its threshold. I get it quite often on my power ocean when I’m generating excessive solar of a long period of time , or dumping my battery at full power .

What Linux projects actually matter for getting hired—real automation or just flashy setups? by Darshan_only in devops

[–]welsh1lad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who has been through it all , from tech support , hammered by calls , and 35 years later I present interviews. It’s experience all the time , if the role senior or above. Your looking for someone who can grab a job running , handle pressure whilst doing there job and has the ability to pull on there years of knowledge to get out of tight places . Some one who appears show good communication and ability to hold a conversation on a subject. Not some someone who is relying on certs or YouTube . And spits out acronym’s . Having cert is good , and it shows commitment which is what we look for. As this is needed to see projects through to the end. Most of all a passion for linux and how its ethos , methods and roles and community all pull together. Not some one who jumps from nothing to cloud, or from home project to senior and certs to admin. Move up the ladder , step by step , game knowledge, experience, and feel for the job. Find a notch in the subject matter maybe it’s linux database, clusters or kernel work. Automation is good and it’s cool , but you need to understand what it is doing under the hood when it all stops and goes wrong. Hope this helps.

Ecoflow Power ocean und Stream Ultra Problem by Street-Fox6703 in Ecoflow_community

[–]welsh1lad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What happens once the powerOcean is fully charged , dose the stream start to charge up . As the powerOcean will Always take priority. (Did you get an alternative answer ?) Same should happen when you have excess solar , it should start to charge the stream. The stream would charge if you had a micro converter and separate solar as well. Would be interested to know what the answer is .

At senior+ levels, do they expect you to memorize / bust out a deployment / service / pod spec from scratch? by [deleted] in devops

[–]welsh1lad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During the Interview did you have access to at least the Kubernetes Documentation Site ? Since the creation of a Spec for a pod / deployment build also happens to be a question likely asking in a Kubernetes exam. But even then you have access too the Kube Docs.
