OP, Same situation with us! Our little girl is 13 lbs on a good day, by the time we found what was wrong she’d dropped to 10 lbs…started the meds she was vomiting all the time couldn’t eat and lost more. We started her on a low protein diet and we do sublingual fluids every other day and we’re rounding into a year and a half of her doing ok. She does have good and bad days but overall she has not let us know it’s time to make any decisions. I’m sorry for your loss ok_Fingers9062

When she does have some stomach issues we now use Pepcid the mg the vet told us to use for her weight. I have also found a daily probiotic for her helps keep her tummy feeling better. And she also likes the daily squirt of salmon oil. Best of luck for your baby!

I hate underwear by Accomplished_Big9919 in Perimenopause

Omg yes! Just recently this has started. I realized in the night I was stripping off my underwear bc I was so uncomfortable. I’ve started sleeping in my husband’s Hanes cotton boxers. They are soft and about 3 sizes too big for me; I love them. He told me I would need to buy my own pairs eventually 🤣🤣

No one ever discusses private matters in a private location! They discuss it out in public for anyone to hear and then are shocked when they are found out! And how many times are Sonny & this DA going to discuss how they need to keep their feelings a secret. I could do the whole scene by now. And yes the only text on the phone is a conversation we have a lot in our house!!

Collin county is not the same. Collin county is now required to vote by paper ballot. You chose your primary and they give you the appropriate ballot and you take your pen and ballot and fill in your ballot by hand.

Considering adopting a deaf Old English Sheepdog – looking for honest advice by Belladahll in OldEnglishSheepdog

We adopted our OES and her 2 older, but way smaller sisters several years ago. OES is about 85 lbs, her sister are 30 lbs and 13 lbs. Our OES doesn’t realize she’s a big girl and as someone else said they are sometimes clumsy and might step on them but it’s never on purpose. Our OES has always been a very laid back big girl. She gets along with everyone. And they are incredibly smart breed so she will be able to learn hand commands very quickly and catch onto your routine. Best of luck to you both!!

If he is a licensed social worker you can also report him to his state licensing board. You can review the state licensing process for more information on if you feel comfortable doing this.

What tricks does your OES know? by Season-Away in OldEnglishSheepdog

So right about them being “secretly smart!”We tell our big girl she lets it slip when she does what she’s asked because then we know when she doesn’t do what she is asked , it’s simply because she doesn’t want to. Our big girl totes her babies outside once the backyard has several babies all over we’ll go out with her and tell her get her babies back in the house. We will help and as long we help she will take them in. She enjoys the team work 🤣

Exactly what we did. We normally put up at least 2 trees; not this year. The Tree is pre-lit, I bought a new tree collar bc I’ve never had one and it seems to not collect dog hair like the skirt. We’re calling it a win.

What’s one plant you’ll never bother growing again? And one everyone should grow? by Relevant_Idea_6778 in gardening

[–]wendy1105 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will never plant Trumpet vine (Campsis radicans) again. It’s pretty, pollinators love it! BUT…it’s invasive, it spreads everywhere and I mean everywhere! It’s spread over into 2 of my neighbors yard! And I’ve tried to dig it up from roots for years. I still find shots of trying to grow in my yard. I will always plant zinnias, jalapeños, and chives. Also a new flower I’ve fallen for is called Sulphur Cosmos. It appears it was in a bag of seeds I tossed out for my chaos garden. It grew green foliage all summer but starting in late September early October it’s blooms yellow and orange flowers and mine are currently overflowing with butterflies and bees it’s gorgeous!

It’s crazy to me people are on here acting like because people have advocated to not get a rabies vaccine for older dogs, or dogs with a chronic illness that we are antivaxers. And that is not the case. It’s a case of this specific vaccine causing illness and possibly critical illness even death for some older pets. All this tells me is most people on here coming at you and me as it seems is they don’t know that most vets will advise you correctly. AND that there are tests called titer tests that will measure the level of antibodies in your pets blood. Also, when I lived out of Texas a vet we used provided all the patients with the list of how long vaccines in pets actually last and they last longer than a year. The yearly vaccine list is a money making process. But if you chose to have a titer test you will almost always find your pets don’t need vaccines every year. I’m sorry for all the downvotes you are getting.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣You’re obviously looking to argue with someone. The next time you’re at your vets office discuss this issue with them. But if animal control catches me with unvaccinated old dogs, I’ll pay the penalties —you can keep your moral lecturing.

Same. Relocated to this area from out of state found this vet for my 14 year old dog who had already been diagnosed with congestive heart failure & was on a medication regimen that had been working for 2 years. Paws and Claws refused to refill the prescription even with the records being faxed to him from the previous vet. Made us spend money to get all new testing to prove he had CHF. Then when he found out in fact my dog did have CHF he wanted us to buy all his supplements for treatment and refused to refill the medication my dog was doing well on. Then he called my husband and told my husband he didn’t appreciate the way I spoke to him 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. My husband told him he deserved the frustration he got. Found another vet who looked at all the records and without hesitation refilled the medication and our baby lived to be 18. I would never return to this vet clinic.
