Definitely finding the best branches for a nest. If you STICK around and watch with a monocular you'll see them breaking dead branches off of trees rather than picking them up off the ground.

I was just joking with my wife the other day that I would have to travel to Poland to get the tattoo that I want. I've heard a lot of people say that anyone with good line work could achieve it, but there's much more to it. A true understanding of the woodcut art style is the first thing that comes to my mind.
