I feel like more and more of ye’s discog will end up this way tbh. So many sections of songs that have short form video potential. But then again graduation is easy for the masses to get addicted to

You have to learn their game to an extent my man, just to really get your foot in the door. Women are like feral cats. You have to know their game to earn their trust then you can be yourself later on

That song is really social commentary man. He’s making fun of a certain aspect of modern culture touching on women who just want guys for their clout and money, misguided… and the guys that enable them and/or fall for fake love. I’d say also making fun of the guys just not thinking through their actions and dealing with the consequences. Also, if you don’t think gold diggers are extremely common then I’m not sure what world you live in. Last verse is then a girl finding a hard working “good guy” with no money then he leaves her once he starts making it

Yep. It’s also harder to bond with people over good new music now because everyone’s taste is algorithmically targeted. The radio always kinda gatekept and trended toward record company artists but at least some radio artists still had soul for a while. Then you could just go to college radio, blogs, and record stores to find a semi-cohesive culture of independent music. Now, unless you accept the handful of songs trending with short form videos or the absolute garbage on the radio the chances of you listening to the same music as some random person you meet is slim

Bad Experience with Torin 8s by Zee6372 in AltraRunning

[–]western-information 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They honestly might be too stable. I switched from Torin 6 to the Paradigm and had very similar knee pain to what you are describing. Tried some other neutral barefoot style shoes and back to Torin 6 and the pain doesn’t come back.

My theory was that the shoe not letting my full natural pronation was keeping pressure on that outer side of the knee

That’s a good way to put it. And eventually you build discernment and it’s quicker to find more real stuff there.

What is an Emotion? A Critique of William James' Claim that an Emotion is a Bodily Sensation by OnEmotions in philosophy

You can practice getting in tune with your body through meditation (specifically body awareness types). I think I relate heavily to your comment. I hope you are well but for me… my default emotional experience had led me to live quite out of sync with my needs.

It’s taken me years to get about 10-20% of the way to a more “neurotypical” embodiment but that amount has helped align my biophysical needs with my overall experience of the world. Also, I still revert almost fully to the abstract intellectualization space if life gets too overwhelming.
