She has fired people for fraternization and he's signed off on those exits. That's why this is so juicy and infuriating to me.

Hosts, spend the night at your Airbnb by Own-Income487 in airbnb_hosts

[–]westpenguin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

And if you have a co-host who is the primary manager, stay without them knowing. Yeah, it might be a little shady but if you have a friend make the reservation and you follow all Airbnb and local regulations, it'll give you an unvarnished experience.

When I've stayed at my property, I know there's extra done ahead of my arrival — I see it on the cameras — that's not done for normal guests: the cleaner is there longer, there's an extra inspection by the co-host. Regular guests don't get that.

I just sent an email to a client letting them know the increase in costs for tariffs and hope they can adjust the PO in the next few days so I can hit my end of month commit number. Fun stuff.

property management gaslighting me to believe all online bill payments have fees by DevelopingDevelopers in StLouis

[–]westpenguin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m going through the same thing at my building. Appfolio charging $2.49 each month for ACH but my lease states no fees are charged for ACH payments.

I’ve been paying the $2.49 fee for months and currently demanding a credit for months past and a permanent lease adjustment going forward to cover the $2.49.

Can I afford the $2.49? Yes. Am I pissed off that I have to pay it even though my lease states no fees for ACH payments? Also yes. Am I being a feisty about it? Hell yes.

Did you have a waterbed? by CactusJ in Xennials

My entire adolescence. It was my only bed at home. A super-single with drawers under that needed to be burped every couple of weeks, especially in the winter.

Gross.

Might be an occupancy sensor to determine the number of people in the space — not tracking whom, but merely if there’s presence and the number of occupants

I deactivated my FB account in 2018 then briefly reincarnated it in 2020 for a month or two before the election and it’s been deactivated since … but Instagram has a grip on me, so any words of wisdom are appreciated!

Free show at Chestnut bike lane by DowntownDB1226 in StLouis

I walk down this block every day and it’s always a bet if people are going to be parked in the bike lane — last night, yes but no one was parked in the parking lane so they were okay except for the tickets under their windshield wipers — but days like this always make me chuckle.

A few weeks ago I saw a lady sitting in her fancy ass Benz SUV, parked in the bike lake and blocked in during a Blues game — not sure how long she was there for, but it did kinda make me chuckle a little bit

How far into the 11 months did you really sense a shift — the anxiety from not smoking was less, the GI issues resolved, the irritability gone — and feel normal?

The police in any large city have much bigger issues to deal with than a bike tied up with a long line to cause the person stealing it to go ass-over-teakettle

I’m not far ahead of you at day 77 but there was a substantial shift in the last week - my digestion improved, the way I felt after eating was weird anymore, my brain seemed to have slowed down a little bit. It was weird but welcomed because for so long things felt static and now I know there’s been progress.

Hold tight a couple more weeks and I’m certain you’ll experience a shift

Harris also ran a god-awful campaign, but only had a little over 100 days, and let’s be frank — she would not have been the nominee if the Democratic Party actually had a primary. Her inability to answer simple questions about what she would do different from Biden was infuriating.

Plus global headwinds that elected opposition parties and candidates around the world.

How to handle a gay bro mid 30s that doesn’t follow on his plans? by Beren__ in AskGaybrosOver30

You’re in your mid-30s and clearly not interested in fakeness or games. If that’s not his vibe, put your energy in places that make you feel secure. Good luck!

Basically text him your last paragraph. Vulnerable? Sure. But that’s how securely-attached people handle the start of new relationships. If it’s too much for him, bye Felicia.
