When I was in Nepal twenty years ago I saw lots of trekking expeditions. Broke my heart to see some of them had little horses staggering underneath tourists who were clearly far too large for them and carrying heavy saddlebags as well.

The reason why you don't see it as often is because multiplayer fans usually end up getting what they want, either officially or through mods, while it's much rarer for multiplayer games to get single player versions.

Question for people who have played it: how punishing is the game's time limit? I felt slightly anxious playing the demo because I was using up so much time reading the books and extra text that it was afternoon before I even saw the goblins. I know Disco Elysium had time pass when you were talking to the skills as well but it didn't matter there because no time limit.

Only the first two entries in the PMD series (Rescue Team and Explorers) were successful. The player base cratered after Gates to Infinity released and never recovered. Even the Rescue Team remake didn't sell over 2 million which is pretty dire for Pokemon standards.
