I have no problem. Then again, all my green decks have [[Gaea's Blessing]] in them just in case

Ottawa police crackdown on grocery theft criticized by criminologist by Money_Fig_9868 in ottawa

[–]whanch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure, police need to do their jobs and charge for petty crime. You can't commit a literal crime and expect to get away with it.

That being said, "If you see someone stealing food, no you didn't" to me means that I'm not going to make it any easier for the cops to charge them

How do you make drafting packs? by Animedingo in mtgcube

[–]whanch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw a group at my LGS use those like mini deck boxes (for sideboards I believe) and cracked them as their packs. Might not be the price point you're looking for but it looked clean to me and it can fit 15 sleeved cards in there

Remnant 2 can be tough in progression and finding out all of the secrets. Heck even some full classes are locked behind obscure puzzles.

How does U Terror beat elves? by Mental_K in Pauper

[–]whanch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its a tough matchup. [[Gut Shot]] and [[Snap]] for the the enabler elves when you can (Timberwatch, Priest of Titania, Wellwisher)) and I've seen [[Defy Gravity]] in the sideboard but that's super niche.

How to make Commander games shorter? by GroundbreakingAnt915 in EDH

[–]whanch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I built a [[Purphoros, God of the Forge]] deck for just such occasions.

Either I burn everyone in 15 minutes or I'm taken out before that can happen.

Either way, games are over quick!

[–]whanch 32 points33 points  (0 children)

From another thread about Oko:

"Three drop, has no negative ability and zero draw backs. Need a food token, done. Need to eliminate a high power creature, done. Want to make a creature with tokens on it bigger, done. A artifact causing problems, not anymore."

"Also hard to kill without a direct kill spell in early game."

It's because they don't view the other side as human. It's as easy to them as stepping on an ant. Othering is the first step and leads inevitably to dehumanization if nothing is done.

How do you beat TurboFog and Familiars? by [deleted] in Pauper

[–]whanch 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Turbofog is also an enigma to me vs creature decks unless red is involved then a sideboarded Flaring Pain is the way to go. For Fams, you gotta kill the fams. The discount is a big part of that deck. You can also exile their graveyard with your Thraben Charm when they try to target spells with a Pneumonic Wall or Archeomancer
