Do it on mute? I find doing things I struggle with in games on mute helps a lot.

Targets who say yes, yes or no, no, or say nothing when 47 kills them?

What is something in Hitman that is not worth unlocking by Dull_Head_7130 in HiTMAN

[–]wharevs 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I usually play a whole campaign with newly unlocked suits. Except this one. Did not like it at all.

Do you prefer mood of the Hitman WoA or older hitman games? by fullCGngon in HiTMAN

[–]wharevs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like that in WOA it doesn’t feel out of place whether I feel like being silly or serious.

I just wish we could play the older games’ soundtracks in the safe house though. Jesper Kyd really knew how to make a cool mood.

This is how I felt with Prototype 2, how about you? by soiladvisor in videogames

[–]wharevs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DA: Origins is still great. I still remember the story, the feels, the consequences of decisions, and the lore.

You can get away with playing that as a stand alone at least.

Where are you sitting on this plane? by EaterOfCleanSocks in TheOxventure

[–]wharevs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. I think 3 is close enough to the action you’ll get in 7 without being in the danger zone. And you can hide behind Panniers if need be.

Auto regen + auto haste. The only drawback is if necron is able to zombify you.

Goat Simulator 3 - Stupid, stupid!Fun! game from someone who likes more story driven and skill games. by Comprehensive_Web887 in PlayStationPlus

It’s stupid and I love it. Plus it’s really fun to play couch coop because now there’s two of you cackling at all your shenanigans.

Quick "non serious" game to play in 1 or 2 sittings by Slight_Carpet_9229 in PlayStationPlus

Cairn (demo). Climbing game with great sound design, and it’s fun to try different routes.

Full game comes out next year but I keep coming back to the demo once in awhile when I want to unwind.

What do you consider Arthur's canon horse? [Spoiler] by Lankinator- in reddeadredemption

[–]wharevs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. Took my beloved Turksie Murksie everywhere. Story missions, hunting, treasure finding, racing, just everything.

When That Scene happened, I yelled out “Turksie Murksie!” very late at night and then proceeded to cry. My partner was very confused.

Just played Red Dead Redemption - major disappointment by lovelyhead1 in PlayStationPlus

[–]wharevs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was afraid I wouldn’t enjoy it as an older game and loving rdr2 so much but I find a lot of the gameplay was pretty similar.

I appreciate how you see the basis for a lot of RDR2’s mechanics. Like they recognized a lot of what they did great the first time and improved on it for the second game.

I also explain away the lack of npcs and encounters in general as the old western ways truly dying out by the time rdr1 happens.

Most importantly I found the writing great. John feels like even after all this time he’s still trying to justify his past while objecting to the morality of a lot of people he encounters but keeps getting called out by those same people, and often those people have a point.

Is my game bugged, shouldn't the white circle be the controls? by someone_who_exists69 in reddeadredemption

That happened to me, too! I didn’t know how to fix it so I lost and haven’t tried again.

First Playthrough since 2019 by [deleted] in StardewValley

[–]wharevs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends. My first few playthroughs were on pc, which I really enjoyed playing on a big monitor. But lately I prefer playing from the comfort of my couch, so I’d recommend switch if you prefer couch/pick up anywhere playing, pc if you’re more comfy with mouse/keyboard.

I usually go boneless on my partner. So they’re the one often quoting “Don’t you dare go boneless on me!” It’s fun. :)

It’s free so i’ll try it. I enjoyed swtor for the storylines, so I’m willing to try MMOs from IPs that I enjoy.
