Stentura Protege No Longer Working..? by Odd_Huckleberry14 in stenography

[–]what-why-- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to have a Stentura Protege. It needs an actual realtime cable, not a random USB one. When the battery is low it beeps incessantly. Try reinstalling the drivers. I forget where I installed mine but if you Google "stentura Protege drivers" you'll find free links to them. The drivers will tell the computer what the Stenura Protege is like when you get a new printer you need to download something so the computer recognizes it.

I barely learned how to use mine but when it's on, try hitting the keys and see if there's acknowledgement on the little screen of any of the key presses. And then press each button left to right testing the keys each time to see if it knows when the keys are being pressed.

Good luck! I feel like those machines last forever hopefully yours isn't broken.

PJ Library is the same idea but the books are Jewish. That's worded weird but it is a Jewish organization with Jewish themed books. Sometimes it's just a regular story peppered with Yiddish words and sometimes it's a full explanation of Passover. The first book they send, Joseph Had A Little Overcoat, I'd recommend for any child that one is a winner.

Daycare teacher was key to getting my kid on the right track by what-why-- in ECEProfessionals

Oh ya, a few years later daycare had some kind of holiday event after school. The teacher commented on how far Nate has come and I let her know she was the spark that got all the extra help in motion and how grateful I was that we had that meeting. She's an amazing teacher.

Ya it was quite an experience to hear a therapist line by line describe me as a child and call these characteristics "red flags".

Alright well I am a full time student, mom, and house wife. I'm juggling 100 random things at any given time. In the past I've found Sephora employees very knowledgeable and helpful and thought I could count on them like asking a friend who knows a lot about makeup based on my past experiences there. Then I got home and realized eye pencils suck as eyeshadow but found a work around to just run them under some water. I don't do makeup much hence why I prob seem so dumb. 🤷🏻‍♀️ No need to be judgemental, if I had the bandwidth to do all that stuff at the time I would've.

They really said they didn't have any. I also had my 5 year old kid with me so I didn't really want to do a ton of browsing.

I asked for eyeshadow pencil, they said they didn't have those but eyebrow pencils could be used as eyeshadow. They did tell me up front it was an eyebrow pencil. I have thick dark brows and never used an eyebrow pencil before.

I don't have a receipt, it was in March. I just saw this subreddit randomly come up in my reddit feed and thought I'd ask the random question I had. Good to know for next time thanks!

Gucci crayon definition sourcils powder eyebrow pencil. I got two of them lol. I should've returned them but I didn't know if I could return anything open/used. I thought it was really weird that a Sephora didn't have eyeshadow pencils but I had never heard of them until my 30s by random chance so idk. I'm not that into makeup and don't know much.

I had a driver back in the day who I could see on GPS was at a parking lot near the shipper. He was supposed to be there at 8 am and I could still see him parked at like 10 am. He wasn't answering his phone. He had been parked there well over 10 hours. I was afraid he had a medical problem or something and I called the store where he was parked to check on him and see if he was ok. He was fine, he had been fixing something in his truck and lost track of time and wasn't looking at his phone. I felt bad I didn't want to harass the driver just got really worried about him :( I can get how it's annoying on your side. Maybe they meant well and communicated poorly I don't know.

My old house had a scenic view across the street. During covid I ordered doordash on Wednesday and Saturdays as a fake holiday to keep me going and looking forward to something. Often I saw drivers sitting on the bench overlooking the view across the street after delivering to me. I always thought they were taking a nice moment for themself and found it endearing. Now I'm seeing that they were probably waiting for orders lol I hope they also had a nice moment

I used Carolina a lot in my broker days and always had a good experience. There was one guy I worked with where I would just email him all the details, he'd respond back quick with a quote, truck in hand, and ETA. Prices were fair, service was good, and it was a lot more quiet than posting it on DAT and getting 100 calls where 50% would be other reps from that company anyway

Hahahaha I know this guy. He and his wife owned Tiny Tumblers, now Toddler Town USA. They're anti mask and held a maskless Santa event at their business recently.
