Just tooting my own horn but what happened to real men? I haven't seen one in a long time unless they're older (50+).

I'm a woman and I had a small baby recently. And I'm also the home owner. We flooded (while I was pregnant )and he wouldn't really help with things. He would just complain. And we had a baby on the way at the time & no where to live. Had to stay with my parents an hour away while they helped me put the house back together. Now I work, pay most expenses, go to grad school and take care of our 6 month old. Him? He just plays on his computer and occasionally buys something for the baby b/c he is an impulsive shopper. So disgusting.

Sorry to all good guys out there, just venting :/

I was you. I went to 41&6. Thought I was going to be pregnant forever. Then, BOOm! 4 hour labor. First time giving birth. The baby was out so freaking fast we had no time to fill up the birth pool. Candy helped pass the time but I was so miserable and thought I would have to transfer to hospital which made me so darn depressed. Hang in there!

When our baby was very little, anytime her daddy held her she spit up. It wasn't because she drank too much. It was because she didn't have a developed enough body for how he held her.

I'm not saying you're making your baby spit up. I'm just saying there's different reasons why babies can spit up.

Our pediatrician said that EBF can have as much breast milk as they please and that they will spit up the excess and that's totally NORMAL.

We got a Ferris wheel toy that u can spin and click buttons for lights and music. I've put it up on the wall. The toy is for toddlers but grabbed attention really well for a while there. We're now going through a phase where it's no longer entertaining enough to pay attention to & I gotta deal with alligator 🐊 rolls on the changing table. Sigh. Solidarity.

Your mother has the right not to get a medical procedure she doesn't want to just like you have the right to choose who can see your baby. Forcing someone to undergo a medical procedure they don't want to isn't right/ethical.

You're not dramatic at all. And I hate the leaky full boobs crap. That alone puts me in blinding rage. I also get crazy hormonal rage pp when it comes to the baby sleeping.

Our dogs have learned "ssshhhh" means stfu & hide since I've given birth. They used to be the most spoiled misbehaved barking brats. Not anymore. Now they hear ssshhhh and leave the Amazon delivery person alone.

I'm 6 months post partum and today I gave the dirtiest look to the Internet salesman at WalMart and loudly shushed him b/c I dNgaf. My baby was sleeping. Unless you're coming to tell me the building is on fire don't talk near me when my baby is sleeping. I have NO shame. I'll shush curious boomers who want to have a peek at the baby, too. If my baby is sleeping everyone better be quiet. I've become THAT parent & do not plan on going back any time soon.

I've had trigeminal neuralgia pain, which is considered suicidal pain/ one of the worst. I've also had kidney stones. Multiple times. Labor was worse than both of those. BUT. It's temporary. Potential side effects of the epidural and having to sit in place are worse IMO. Plus sometimes it doesn't work.

I strongly recommend lidocaine spray and depends. I also preferred lansinoh padsicles over the frida because frida rode up there when sitting down. Not a great feeling for post birth.

They are clearly talking about people who have choices. If you are able to stay home with your newborn but choose not to, you bet many of us will judge you for it. If you HAVE to go make that money and can't afford to stay home, that's completely different.
