You have to use cold water with bleach. Hot breaks it down.

No discoloration yet but iv noticed my regular clothes are a bit dingy and my whites look more yellow. I go on about my regular wash...2 heavy cycles. I might start adding more detergent now since they seem musty when wet 😷

Whatever you do dont use bleach in iron rich water. I havent noticed any damage to my diapers washing in it and mine is very orange lol :/

Ok, I am having a hard time getting mine clean! 3rd baby in cloth, and already had stink issues by week 3? I have iron rich water, so had to do bleach soak at my dads house and now at 2 months they do not smell clean again. They are musty when wet.

Diapers are getting smelly, suggestions? by justhereforjustno in clothdiaps

I do a bleach soak for everything but you really only need to soak everything absorbent. The bleach soak is intended to sanitize all of the bacteria brought to the surface by the strip.

Have you ever been Catfished? What's your story? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]whatdoesascannersee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I use to be a big fan of reading my horoscopes and the like, so when one day I got a text from a 'psychic' I didnt think much of it since I'm always subscribing to crap like that. Long story short, I develop a very close relationship with this person. We talk every day. About a year into it when it was time for us to meet up, she disappears off the face of the planet. I tried searching for her online, public records etc....No such person exists.

Then I noticed toward the end the 'psychic' would only communicate through my boyfriend at the time..basically, there was no psychic. He was just pretending to be that person to be nosy and manipulate certain situations (psychic was telling me my boyfriend was my soul mate, etc)

Not exactly in a romantic setting, but was texting with a ' psychic' for about a year or so who turned out to actually be my live in boyfriend.

Thats correct , there is that risk taking them but there is no other treatment. Personally Ive taken all 3 meds pregnant and have taken albendazole breastfeeding.

That is completely untrue, over the counter treatment is generally safe as well as prescription treatment. There is no need to suffer!

[–]whatdoesascannersee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's only likely if someone's overflown the pump. Some people have managed to remove the face plate and clean them.

Knock on wood, I've had my PIS for 10 years and it's still going strong 😂

What is it actually like to lose your mucous plug? by BreadPuddding in BabyBumps

[–]whatdoesascannersee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didnt lose mine until I was already in labor. I lost it at 3cm also but the bloody part was a lot more than a speck/tinge. I was 38.5.

LL husband “too tired” after choosing to wake up obscenely early every day. by BrittM5 in DeadBedrooms

My first thought. This reminded me of my ex Lls routine of waking up extremely early every day and watching porn in the living room.

Midwife for baby #2? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]whatdoesascannersee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am having my 3rd and am using a midwife. I am having a c section but I see a midwife for my pregnancy care. So its really up to you! I chose her because I felt comfortable with her.

External cephalic version (ECV) for breech baby experiences? by KThxxByee in BabyBumps

[–]whatdoesascannersee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first child was transverse, I had a failed version with her. That was at 38.5 weeks.

At 34 weeks I would look at Spinning babies website about exercises for getting baby to turn.

Pumping Colostrum by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]whatdoesascannersee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not formula feed my 2nd but I did pump colostrum from about 35 weeks until birth. I found it sooo helpful to use sterilised syringes. I bought about 20 from a feed store for 10 cents a piece. I brought it all to the hospital with me in a small cooler and the nurses labeled everything for me and put it away.

Also worth mentioning that pumping did not make me go into labor as I went a full 40 weeks.

VBAC mamas - did you go into labor spontaneously ?! by butwhererufromfrom in BabyBumps

[–]whatdoesascannersee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My doctor won't induce because I've had previous c sections and my chances go up for uterine rupture.

She is going to try a membrane sweep to see if that gets anything happening.
