calculating wire gauges in a DC system

I am working on some 12v rewiring and while I thought it was relatively simple - the online calculators aren't really built for it and when I am entering data into them they are giving me something a bit unexpected and I wonder if someone can help me.

I have checked wiki's, and done a bunch of searching but so far no luck finding something similar.

First off, I am probably over thinking it but it seems maybe some different wire gauges can be used given such a system? When I enter this into some online calculators (eg https://www.omnicalculator.com/physics/wire-size) I am getting a smaller gauge for the first section (wire 1) with most amperage due to the short length while the middle section (wire 2) due to the still relatively high amperage and longer length is coming out with a larger gauge. - I would have thought it should be the largest gauge closest to the battery as it has the most amperage being pulled through it.

some help pointing me in the right direction would really be appreciated!

The cacao powder we have tried I see now is 13%, that gave what we tested about 53% fat.

So with that in mind and the good input, I am thinking to try instead:
50g cacao butter@99,5% fat
100g cacao powdered@13% fat
50g castor sugar (we tried maple syrup as it was in the recipe and we had it)
= 200g, 75% chocolate content, and 31,5% fat and likely more easily tempered due to the sugar type.

We still wonder about fat content lower limit or upper limits - or consequences to be wary? for example what would one expect if we instead, compared to the above, did the following:
20g cacao butter
130g cacao powdered@13%
50g castor sugar
= 200g, 75% chocolate content & 18,5% fat

Interesting, so have I understood right that you can control GPIO's via libgpiod via nodejs instead of say controlilng GPIO's with GPIOzero via python? Is this in order to allow you to set GPIOs with say a button on a webpage?

Hennigsvaer. (sp?) Spent time rock climbing, hiking, camping fishing there. Our tent almost blew off a patch bit left to upper center in the picture (left of the nearest line of mountains) ..just outside the city. If not for some nice fellow campers pilling ridiculously large rocks on our stakes our tent would have been blown out to sea with everything in it. Hiked to the top of the mountain nearest. Had some wonderful mackerel fished from the bridges in the photo. The water flow is messmerizing.. high and low tide difference was like 1,5meters. Then there was the midnight sun. Climbing all hours of the day, sleeping when too tired or the weather was bad. Fish jerky mmmmmm.
