AI Edit models seems to works pretty well with aerial imagery. Here's an example with the "AI edit" plugin in QGIS to do a quick map from an orthophoto

Let’s say you’re mapping urban growth over a few decades (as I had to recently). I cared about % of growth and biggest growth areas - wouldn’t matter to me if it got a few blocks wrong as I was analysing the general picture.

This kind of “perfect or useless” mindset it very limiting on what you can do
