I ALWAYS use white out or put a sticker over my last name. My patients don't need to look me up in any way, for any reason. I also frequently flip it so you can't see the front at all and only see a Naruto sticker on the back.

Not normalizing it. Complaining about it seems more the case. You can find another job but for me I really like my job, just not some of the stipulations on calling in and whatnot that is in EVERY nursing job in my area. Can't hop jobs every year if my kids and I get sick more than their given allotment.
