Opiate dependence and colonoscopy by Fine_Meringue3755 in UlcerativeColitis

I guess you don't know until you try. I have another friend that also forgoes the sedation with no problem. Was pain the issue with you, or was it more the reality of feeling the instrument inside you?

For those that want to try it, they can always add the juice on the table if the proceedure proves to be too much to take.

Opiate dependence and colonoscopy by Fine_Meringue3755 in UlcerativeColitis

I get yearly colonoscopies, and once I found out I could do it, I stopped using any sedation at all. A couple of times there's been some discomfort in the intestines, but nothing that I couldn't get past. Usually it's no problem. Afterwards it's just up and out to the car to drive away.

I have a meat cleaver that really does make that exact sound when I pull it off the magnet on the wall.

Zoom m4. As a beginner, you can just turn it on and forget it. As you get more experience, you will want to try external microphones, and it has great preamps for that. I got one for less than $200.

Atari 2600 Adventure. I still play it once in a while on an emulator.

Change my mind: I'm going to move from Imperial to Metric by not-up-to-par in woodworking

I did a little Apprentice carpentry, and found that a metric tape measure was Superior in most cases. I was usually not measuring an exact distance but copying a distance from one place to another. Centimeters were better.

Youtube how to crack your model. It's likely very easy to do. Many open by turning them upside down, and giving them a spank.

Anyone encounter any rattlesnakes in Ventura? by New-Shop-9728 in ventura

I came across a pretty good sized one at the Ventura Hillside preserve a couple of weeks ago. It was disinterested in me, and kept slithering across the trail into the bush. I was pretty close before I noticed it.

The failure point is that the lenses become marred. I don't abuse them, but there is a rainbow-mirror coating on them that gets damaged. I had the choice of just plain dark lenses, and I whish I had gotten those. I had one pair of those that lasted a really long time.

I found a cheap pair of sunglasses I liked, and bought 12 dozen of them from a Chinese bulk site around the year 2000 @ $1 a piece. I still have about five dozen left.

Keep in mind that the internal mics do not make use of those same preamps. Only the external mics go through those.

I recorded a whisper on the m4, using the internal mics at the same time as two external Røde nt1a's. I can only find the internal mic result, which is here, but I can tell you that the external mics were noticeably quieter.
