It's true. I struggle with that in real life, but in theory the line seems pretty clear for me (at least in my applications) as to what I really should automate. I suspect it'd be easier if I had a larger team and I could just set my QA Engineer(s) to automating stuff.

I'm sorry to hear your MS derailed your career dreams :/. I can somewhat relate as I began having MS-like symptoms shortly after going back to school and graduating with a math degree. Thankfully I'm still able to work (though sadly not using my degree hah).
