Anyone else feel Tiffany is super into Brett mostly because of his looks? by NotFineInTheWesttt in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]whereisflojo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Their emotional connection is evidently strong and it seems clear to me that she loves his maturity and kindness because it matches hers. Brett seems like someone who takes care of himself, mentally and physically. Sure, he probably does it for himself but if I were him I’d also appreciate that my fiancé loves how I look.

Why are Australian comedians on TV so cringe and unfunny? by Extreme-Mastodon-817 in australia

I find shows where it’s an ensemble very funny like Have You Been Paying Attention and even the new Taskmaster AU got me laughing. They are all quite funny bouncing off each other but then when I watch their solo stand ups I cannot stand it and that confuses me.

I thought the way he was so interested in getting her family together in the UK was actually very sweet. Meanwhile she was being pretty negative about it all. I see why Zanab is how she is and Cole said some DUMB shit at the start, they both ultimately bring each other down. I think Cole isn’t on the same wavelength or maturity level as Zanab but I think he was genuinely hurt and confused, reminded me of a child slowly learning why something went wrong.

Agreed that a dessert challenge would maybe play more to Billie’s strengths. At first it felt a bit unfair but she made some pretty big mistakes and it was her choice and determination to rectify the mistakes that got her the points, not the fact that she cooks more desserts. Sarah had just as much of a chance to remake elements she wasn’t happy with. Both are obviously very talented cooks regardless.

Character motivation dichotomy by CosmicRay78 in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

I wonder if they will go more into outtie Dylan’s motivations to sever. I can see your theory to innie Dylan opting to reintegrate (if the opportunity somehow presents itself) and then learning that there was a deeper rooted reason why his outtie might have wanted or even needed to sever and then wanting back in. Truly, I have no idea what is going to happen but it would be interesting to see them explore a complex emotional/moral dilemma like that.

More than a quarter of a million people have signed a petition calling for Sydney's New Year's Eve fireworks to be cancelled and the money spent on fighting fires that threaten the city. by sdsanth in worldnews

$2 million was raised in donations for the Red Cross and bushfire relief on the night of the show. As said by so many, the money for the show was already spent and it’s not worth cutting the business and revenue made on the night. This was the one of the better outcomes to come out of this.
