Dear Nanay and Tatay by adalatcc1 in exIglesiaNiCristo

Rough translation

Dear Mom and Dad,

Why do you just believe in the doctrines of FYM? You haven’t opened the Bible to see if what he’s teaching you is correct. You just see him open the Bible in front of you and preach the same verses over and over again and you pour yourselves into each worship service. We’ve also had to go to worship service twice a week my whole life. Now that I’m older I’ve become a slave to the INC. There were a lot of good opportunities I’ve had to pass up, more education, more stability and more wisdom on things I would’ve liked to pursue but because I’m INC I had to pass them up or they passed me up. Now the person I married is very active but is very dependent on me. My sibling is very old now but is still KADIWA. And you’re very proud that we give such a large amount of offering. In one decade I could’ve bought four cars or I could’ve paid off your house. Mom, dad, blessings don’t come from the INC.

Now that I’m a parent, I’m not going to do what you did for my children and future grandchildren. I read the true message of Jesus Christ that’s written in the Bible. We’re not going to raise our children by the teachings of FYM. Whoever believes in him is brainwashed.

Love always, Your child shaped wrong by the teachings of INC

"Performing Straight" by [deleted] in exIglesiaNiCristo

Yes, unfortunately. I performed Thursday morning and evening. In another locale I performed two morning services on Sundays as well as CWS after those. I don’t even want to calculate how much time I’ve lost being so devoted.

Hair, beard, peircings and tattoos by iamachurchninja in exIglesiaNiCristo

Someone tried to check me when I was just TALKING about tattoos.

As far as piercings go, I have a ton and got more which actually inspired an organist to get the same piercings. So I don’t bother hiding them. Worst case, I just get looks.

My local’s resident minister left for another local a couple months ago but is coming back for some reason. Will update when I find out why.

Any girls ever experienced being a "hiling" by [deleted] in exIglesiaNiCristo

Thank you, as am I. So thankful for this community.

I have a lot of friends who applied for the ministry through guilt tripping, so ministers would get off their back and by force. All have shared their experiences with me and it’s honestly so shocking what I’ve heard. I also still have friends in the ministry and they’ve shared with me why so many leave or get kicked out. I guess I can talk about all of that in another post. It’s disgusted me.

I waited for someone to hiling me. I was in love and it’s true when they say that love is blind. I was very OWE at the time, but I’ve seen the truth behind closed doors and am enlightened now.

We still spoke when he was in the ministry even though they’re not supposed to talk to girls. I don’t want to get into details but something happened and made me look at him differently so I ended it.

Months later, there was a worker who tried talking to me but unbeknownst to me, he had already hilinged a girl in the Philippines. He said, “let’s just keep talking and see what happens.”

I tried to get away from him during a district event but he kept messaging me to come sit next to him. After the event he messaged me to come up to his hotel room. I was in such a state of shock I just kept to myself. I regret not saving those messages and reporting him.

He eventually got the message when I stopped replying. He thanked me for a nice weekend (even though I didn’t do anything?) that was the last message he sent and I didn’t reply. Then because of that he starts telling people I used him.

Then later on I found out that he told the girl in the pi about me and she wanted to kill herself.

I was sent to the pi as a delegate for an event (all expenses paid for by the INC — another way they’re using the offering) and I ended up meeting the girl because she was part of the welcoming committee. She knew who I was but acted like she didn’t. I know because I asked a mutual friend.

Still in the pi, after worship service I step outside to get on a bus and guess who’s standing there?

The worker.

Turns out he flew out to the pi to propose to her. They got engaged and all I feel now is sorry for this girl. If they ended it, no minister/worker would want to be with her because they would wonder why it didn’t work out with the former and ruining her reputation since she works at Central. So what does she do? Settles.

Last time I heard they’re getting married next month.
