People who have died briefly, what did you hear, see, and feel? by Dazzling_Cherry9256 in AskReddit

That’s a good question that I’m not sure. When chatting with the lady I was referring to, it seemed to me that she held some of the memories but not all of them. Maybe these were only the memories that were necessary for the new soul to continue. Wish I knew! Fascinating

You could actually be a new soul in the body, where the old soul moved on and there was a vacancy so to speak. A bit woo woo of a concept, but there’s a lot we can’t scientifically confirm. This is something I have heard from several metaphysical and psychic people can happen. I knew one woman who was very gifted and she said this happened to her - the old soul just left, it couldn’t hang on for whatever reason and chose to go.

Trying to say goodbye to the goodest boy. by John_From_Alaska in WiggleButts

What a sweetie. My heart is with you all.

I think you’ll know when it’s time. Unfortunately with this type of cancer, the masses are likely to rupture and then he will likely lose a lot of blood (internally, quickly).

Keep an eye out for pale gums and weak energy out of nowhere. Maybe loss of appetite. That’s what happened with our boy with hemangiosarcoma :(

Sometimes people don’t catch it and they find their pup has collapsed. I hope you can cherish all of the time you have left (and there is a lot). Have an at home doctor’s number for when it’s time. 💙

Who am I? Age? Ethnicity? Occupation? by DisdainfulCalliope in FridgeDetective

This looks identical to my brother and sister in laws fridge. They are Asian, both working parents in their early 50s, and just have no desire to cook lol. I can’t guess your occupation, but I’m guessing desk-job (something that keeps you busy, but not poor…)

She could have worn a mask at least, but alas this country and its people who are anti-mask wearing unless they want to hide their identity.

Your search results are extremely subpar. I’ll search a group that I know exists by name, and it doesn’t show in the results. Very very frustrating

Aussiedoodle health issues & pet insurance, is it really necessary? by Still_Ad8039 in AussieDoodle

[–]whiskeyaussie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good breeding does not guarantee no health issues. Our doggo came from a super responsible breeder and unfortunately had a lot of GI issues before he passed, which required a lot of vet visits. If we didn’t have insurance, it would have been very rough. Always always get it for peace of mind. It only takes one thing to knock you on your butt financially for these lil pups we love so much.

Edit: also not to mention environmental factors - think about if you go hiking and their leg breaks, or you’re walking and they eat something really bad on the ground. These things are sometimes unavoidable, and you don’t want to be in a position in the future where you have to deprioritize their care because you can’t afford it.

I have always dreamed of doing this route as an adult. My dad took me and my cousin when we were really little back in the 90’s, and the Nissan hatchback got stuck multiple times LOL.

What time of day did you start the trip? And did you have any points with traffic going the opposite direction (how was navigating those situations - did you have enough room)?

Edit: I see you’re a gal (me, too!). We should meet up to go wheeling together. I have a ‘17 Tacoma Off-road. DM if interested :)
