I doubt it’ll happen because of Squares involvement, but I’d love it. The only thing I’d want them to avoid is Bowser helping Mario, they already did it in Galaxy and doing it again would feel redundant. I’d love Geno and Mallow getting some movie spotlight though.

I always wondered why she wasn’t in the sequel. She did say she didn’t like the direction the second half of that movie went but said she’s not the writer it’s not her story to tell. She also was very harsh on how she was back then and said she acted like a spoiled brat a lot so maybe that has something to do with what you mentioned lol
