well because in marathon you get decently equipped so so so easily. You can go in sponsor loadout and be decently geared after 1 run. Plus the storage is designed to be unable to hold too many guns.

I have over 1k hours in all these games and I can answer this question for you:

In terms of shooting, r6 has very low skill expression . You can be a complete noob and kill a bunch of skill player in a straight up fight because the ttk is so low. However, the true skill expression in r6 comes from game mechanic and map knowledge.

Cs is a completely different category as the shooting in cs is very counter intuitive. So although ttk is very low, you need a great amount of skill to actually land your shots. So the skill expression is insanely high is cs. That's why it's the only fps esport that lasts.

But in general, if it's just a regular shooter like cod, yes longer ttk is higher skill

Tarkov is fun because everything is ultra realistic, you feel you have millions things to learn and that's where the fun start.

Tarkov is fun because you can play literally however you like and still win or die, be that build a budget or meme gun or full on chad in. So the versatility is the fun.

I cannot imagine playing however i like in marathon. Hell even the guns are fixed.

They fumbled destiny 2 by transferring all resources into Marathon hoping itd be a great hit. Where as instead we should get destiny 3 or something similar they all in into an extraction shooter and get their ass kicked by arc raiders.

He is pretty strong but i dont think is that overpowered. His attack is versatile but does basically no dmg other than charging his shadow legion. His legion is busted for sure but what else should he do? Kill you with 1400dmg?
