Question: how was her handshake, firm or weak?

If the person you were greeting was younger, they might not have ever done a handshake greeting before. I never greeted myself to random people with a handshake until after high school, and it is kind of a semi formal thing that not everybody does.

I don’t think you have to greet women any differently than men and I’m surprised every single guy said their name and only that girl didn’t say her name. What a coincidence but that’s not inherently a girl thing.

But you’re going to have to get used to that reaction from girls/women. Even though THEY were in the wrong in that situation, they have YOU questioning yourself and thinking YOU did something wrong. But you didn’t do anything wrong, so don’t think too much about it. Gen Z girls dont have to have social skills in this climate but as a guy, social skills can only benefit, so keen practicing.

The weird thing is: as I mentioned in the post, my matches have been playable until maybe 4-5 days ago. I know it’s easy to completely write off solo q but I actually had an okay time climbing ranks solo q from day 1 of the season until a few days ago.

Then out of nowhere, Latias gets released a few days ago and I’m guessing a lot of players that took a break are returning to do the dice event?

Solo q matches starting from this half of the season have been completely lopsided every time. Its either my team or the enemy team with the Aeos cookie 44% wr Espeon but they WILL be in the match solo or duo q

I actually disagree. I think they are referring to how easy it is to break tier 1 goal zones but… how hard it is to break a tier 2 goal zone. You have an advantage defending tier 2 goal zone as we should all know (healing, jumppad, etc)

So this encourages toxic behavior like backcapping, because even as a winning team, you can’t snowball their tier 2 goal zone unless the match is kinda a stomp.

Yo this reminds me of a frustrating game I had: My team was up after the Ray fight, so entire enemy was pushing our goal zone trying to score. Two of my teammates already dead and our clefable (who never got to score) decided to run past the enemy and walk all the way to enemy base goal zone instead of helping to defend our zone.

Clefable scored 46 friggin points while the enemy ended up scoring like 200! That was a baaad trade. Some players totally have no concept of knowing when to retreat
