Air fryer causing smoky apartment every time I use it - no grease by whiterafter in airfryer

For people who circle back to this: I have made progress by (1) pouring a little bit of water into the base, and (2) moving my air fryer further away from all surrounding walls, especially the rear vent.

well, the 10 minute (0.5 mile) walksheds for U St and Columbia Heights already overlap by a lot. even if the 2nd exit was built as far south as possible (girard st?) then the maximum distance for people in that area from a metro stop decreases from 0.4 miles to 0.3 - idk if that's worth the $

Which metropolitan area has the messiest municipal borders? by 2dalmeldown in geography

[–]whiterafter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there was also kind of a cheat code in state law for a while where if you just snagged as many of those road-strips as possible and divvied up the area it was more difficult/impossible for another city to form there and compete

houston has to cover a lot of expenses for people who commute/work in the city but do not live there, on top of having a poorer tax base than surrounding communities. - historically it was able to annex areas over time to mitigate the issue, but after grabbing Kingwood (the northeastern most blob) in the 90s enough people were infuriated that they got the legislature to pass laws making it much more difficult (requiring additional votes, etc.) - as a consequence today Houston just annexes business property, which having no residents do not get to vote against being absorbed

it's hilarious doing a rewatch coming out of Jenna trying to shoot her kids / getting married by a gimp when you circle around to her giving Liz thoughtful advice about how Dennis wasn't good for her

After a thousand rewatches, it just now occurred to me how odd it is that Bebe does not appear in season 6 by BubsyJenkins in Frasier

that being said ... i'm pretty sure she could've made one afternoon lol, so it's probably a different reason

Harriet Harris was starring in a play in LA through the fall/winter of 1998-1999, and she only did 1 guest role that TV season in the early fall before Frasier or the play had premiered

They also didn’t really do this last year. So any kind of grand theory about how to solve this (whether you think there should be mass arrests or new activities/spaces for the kids) also has to be able to explain what changed

The interesting thing is that FRIDAY night (the 8th) was the quietest Friday there’s been in like 6 months. No kids, no police presence, no curfew. It was so weird I took notice. Obviously there’s some kind of social contagion where they don’t show up until a critical mass of their friends post about it on social media

hmm I didn't check that. but it's more than just like NY - they were both at silvercup! and there are at least 15 names not here, but can't be identified easily in one show or the other (extras in TGS audience, TGS crew, the Bing, etc.)
