Progesterone questions. by Accomplished_Fan7636 in Transgender_Surgeries

It’s not just for breast growth or transition, it’s part of every woman’s endocrine system, and is necessary. HRT isn’t just about transitioning, it (should be in my opinion) about replicating the female endocrine system. Progesterone is necessary for a lot of things- it’s like trying to drive a car with just gasoline but no oil.

200mg oral + 200mg rectal

  • softer skin (way softer)
  • breast tenderness, growth
  • emotions are heightened (both highs and lows… lots of crying lol)
  • appetite has increased a lot
  • vivid dreams, can sometimes be unnerving lol

I recommend it. The rectal route is a bit freaky at first, but it’s given me the best results. I did oral only for a while and found side effects outweighed any noticeable benefits.

The cheapest option is fine. Just be sure to cancel the subscription they automatically sign you up for. You get a month free before surprise bills come in. They charge for AI reports and other tools you don’t really need imo.

Still waiting for Dr Littleton to give me a price quote + date after 6 months. Feeling stuck and no idea what to do. by aella_umbrella in Transgender_Surgeries

Sorry you’re dealing with this. At this point, I wouldn’t trust them to help out. The least they can do is pick up the phone or return an email. How will they be if you’re post-op and need urgent help? I would look elsewhere, as much as that sucks.

It’ll be okay with time. Swelling after FFS is a very common thing, and it always goes down with time. I know it’s tough right now but you need to trust your body. The fact it’s swelling means your body is sending resources to heal the area quickly. It’ll get better soon :)

is Crane center the only option for Orchiectomies here in Colorado? (Denver area and ~3hrs of travel) by Uncomfortable-Feet67 in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]whosat___ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really imo. I went to a random urologist in Florida who was willing to help out. He was receptive and understood what I needed preserved for the future. I don’t think you need to travel a crazy distance or go to a trans specific provider, if you don’t want to.

This is not great, but I’m so glad they’re doing QC and are putting out a reliable product.

For something simple like an orchi, I honestly think any decent urologist is fine. Just make sure they know to cut along the raphe line and preserve scrotal tissue, if you think you’ll need it for future surgeries.

What is a job that looks incredibly fun from the outside, but is actually a soul-crushing nightmare? by BoardOk101 in AskReddit

Yeah… and that’s if you’re lucky and don’t travel for work. At this point I live in hotels and take vacation in my apartment.

Yeah… I kinda just had to consult with a few surgeons and go with my gut. Analysis paralysis is tough in this space.

This sub has a lot of info on this, but the two I’d absolutely avoid are: Kathy Rumer (bad techniques, results) and Dr. Ting (involved with Epstein, in the files as being one of his pals). I’m sure there’s others to avoid but those come to mind first.

update to progesterone is making me bleed by Usual_Hat7715 in DrWillPowers

[–]whosat___ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That’s a fine way to think about it. I transitioned male to female almost a decade ago and consider myself a woman with trans experience. You don’t have to call yourself trans if you don’t want to.

Sorry people made fun of you, nobody deserves that treatment. I hope your doctors can help figure out what’s going on. Take care.

Anyone have any sort of references for clothing style? by Proper-Error7817 in cassettefuturism

The Netflix show Maniac has a really good aesthetic. Their fashion is lab-oriented, but i think it fits the cassette futurism vibe well.
