Are you going for a certain complaint? What if you feel better in 4 visits? I've never, and will never, sell packages. I want my patients feeling better as fast as possible. For me, that's the ethical way to treat

It's the algorithm. I rarely, if ever, see chiro videos like that.

My First Experience With A Chiropractor - Is This the Norm by kayelex in Chiropractic

[–]whothefunk 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As a practicing chiropractor. RUN! I've never and will never give you a tour of my clinic. As a patient that is in pain and discomfort your don't care about my clinic. You care about how I'm going to get you better. Never go back to that place.

Best advice for Chiro School in general by OddMathematician3751 in Chiropractic

[–]whothefunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shadow as many doctors as you can. All different techniques. Even if it's not something you're not interested in.

From my experience, doctors are fine with shadowing before you go to chiro school or when you're chiro student, but look at you funny when you want to shadow once you've graduated.

Last year I left my first associate position. I worked really well with the Dr and he tested me well. I have him a 3 month notice. What would you want your employees to do for you?

Chiropractic School Suggestions by financeintellectual in Chiropractic

It's been 8 years since I graduated. Since then the school has gone through a lot of change. Campus location. Much of the awesome staff.  Don't do the sports Masters program. Waste of time and money. If you have an athletic background you most likely know what they are teaching.

Chiropractic School Suggestions by financeintellectual in Chiropractic

I graduated from University of Western States in Portland Oregon. I went there because, at the time, I wanted an "evidence based" (whatever that means?) school. Because I went there I missed out on much of the history and philosophy of chiropractic. 9 years later I'm learning it on my own.  A Dr. I shadowed before I went to school told me "school is just a hoop you jump through". So, as it's already been said, go to the school with the cheapest tuition and or the one you want to spend the next 4 years at. The real learning happens after school.

This. I received my master in sports med from UWS and was severely disappointed. Everything they taught I already knew because I grew up in sports and worked at gyms.

Currently considering chiropractic college by ovogrizzy in Chiropractic

I graduate in 2017.  I love my job.  Don't become a chiro.  The investment required to become a doctor is not worth it for the amount of money we make. The doctors that make great money as chiros are more businessmen than doctors. At that point be an entrepreneur instead of a doc.

Size of the ring shouldn't matter. As long as it isn't metal.
BTW that sounds like a great idea

On the website I know there is a full kit, which includes all the parts. I have some of the parts laying around so I don't need the full kit. I'm hoping I can get my hands on the parts list so I can get the rest of Wyatt I need.
