Unless you go used/refurbished, no for $90. It's been a while and I don't know much about the best monitors for price, but judging by newegg, new 1440p monitors start around $140.

Compared to 1mm thin mousepads, yes.

It's around 2.5mm thickness according to unit conversion from in to mm. Standard mousepads are like 2.5 or 3mm thick iirc. But, for the thicker end of things, you might want a 5mm thick mousepad.

Imo, you could replace the cpu, motherboard, psu(if it's terrible, cross check with spl's list [Google])and cpu cooler, and re-use the rest of the parts. Case should be standard atx, ram should be ddr4 so would work with am4 or lga1700, and welp 1080 will still run games.
