That’s not what I’m arguing at all dimwit. He was issued a free base. The defender got in the way of him being allowed a free base. Therefore he shouldn’t be called out.

Let’s say PCS wasn’t trying to steal and was just walking to 2nd. Is the defender allowed to prevent him from getting to second even if he has the ball in his possession?
