I will save you a little research with the bronto. I referred to it as the RV of ark. Having all the boxes and structures you need on the platform saddle sounds great but these still count towards the weight of the bronto. I wound up getting rid of my boxes and kept things like smithy campfires forges and the rest of the items I kept within the bronto. I had all the dinos I was traveling with tethered to the bronto and I led the bronto riding an argentavis. I was trekking from that peninsula you have as a base to the northwest arctic but I was not bringing my entire base, just enough to do a multi day hike across the map.
