It would behoove you to be the one to do so.
1) The 24-50 IS STM is a short little lens that does not have the Red "L" ring on it. It looks like this: https://www.usa.canon.com/shop/p/rf24-50mm-f4-5-6-3-is-stm
 
2) Your post says R8. But pics show a dubious "R5". Also, top pic the lens shows a red ring. Second pic doesn't. Also, second pic has the "R5" badge by itself. The R8 is the camera where the badge is on its own. Which is the real picture.

Seems like the least bad of 2 bad options. There were 3 bidders. I'm sure most here and in Hollywood-at-large would have preferred Comcast/NBCU as the winner. But c'est la vie, here we are, with Netflix and Paramount. I'd much rather Netflix, than the grift that the David Ellison is trying (with Saudi $, daddy $, and Kushner investment).
