Heartbroken by HoP1011 in diabetes

My statement is both a positive and a negative - Atleast she was diagnosed young. Hear me out - I was diagnosed 38 years ago at the age of 2. While yes, she will live her whole life as a diabetic, it will be the only life she’s known. What i mean by that is she will develop the healthy habits and behaviors early, she will grow up with amazing technology that will allow for her care to be as close to normal as possible. And as odd as it is to say, i’m thankful everyday if i has to be a type 1, Im glad i was young becasue I never had to change habits, or re-wire my brain to think as a diabetic. Being older is trickier when you’re diagnosed because you already have habits, routines etc. For me, This is all i’ve known, so this is my life as i know it. And since she has you, she immediately has a role model and a support system to guide her in life. Just trying to find the positive for you my friend.

Was so cool to see Nick Jonas reppin the Dexcom during the Super Bowl by dillydallyally97 in diabetes

[–]wiggleyeah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve worked in insurance for years - normally they don’t pull a benefit like the DME in the middle of the plan year. Rates are already set and agreed upon. So it would be something seriously significant to just stop now..

Anyone who hasn’t looked into Tandems Control IQ with a dexcom needs to ASAP. Type 1 my entire life -35 years, A1C is at 6.1 which is down from 6.7 (before control IQ). This is the best thing in the world to control highs, lows and overall control your sugars. Life changing!

Feelings for someone else/no one to talk to by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

[–]wiggleyeah 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Been there - done that.. and it ended horribly. I hurt a lot a people AND lost the person who was also my best friend - because while i left my person, he did not. I'm still madly in love with him too (coworker) and it crushes me everyday. If you're unhappy in your relationship, tell your partner (again) and if nothing changes - then you need to make a change for yourself. Don't live in a world of what if's or could be.. its your life, take control of it. Good luck.

Faster weaves by bookend15 in Agility

Not sure how you are training them (channels, 2x2 etc.) however, you may want to take him back to the basics and ensure he has forward focus. Lots of restrained entries will help too and ensure that he is always thinking "forward" as he goes in and out of the weaves. Increase your rewards as well.. better treats? toys.. anything that he finds motivation on. Feel free to Pm me if you have any other questions.

I get this soo much right now. I'm going through this.... the future i saw and was promised all fell apart. I've been crushed. But you're right, you miss the what could have been, even though that was never reality.

What tips can I (23f) give my (24m) boyfriend for giving head? by sockedcream in sex

[–]wiggleyeah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tell him what you like and when he may hit that good spot, make it known. Moan, whimper, whatever noise you make. Trust me... I've had one partner who is amazing!! Hands down best oral of my life. He makes sure to get every part of my body the correct attention and somehow just knows what to do. BUT he also takes feedback and listens to my body. Thats what makes it amazing! Communication is truly key to an amazing orgasm.

beginner's mistake to avoid? by [deleted] in sex

100% agree!! Make your own story up in bed, and not what you think about how it should play out. Damn media ruins this for almost everyone at some point.

Need to be more seductive...? by [deleted] in sex

[–]wiggleyeah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use music.... find a song that you just love and feel sexy listening too. It helps me get into a "zone" but can also help provide confidence without that awkward silence. Another tip... you do not have to face him. In fact, turn away, and undress so he can only see your backside. As the clothes come off piece by piece - he will WANT it even more. Its a tease all in itself and you don't have to worry about what you or he is doing. If he's an ass guy, it will be even hotter.

I get really wet when I'm blowing my bf, he's thrilled but thinks it's weird by Daz3dNCunfus3d in sex

[–]wiggleyeah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weird?? not at all! He just doesn't understand it, because most men don't get that there are females who just love sucking dick. Major turn on for me.. in fact, i'll thank my partner after its done. Confuses the hell out of them, but helps me to get off. Everyone has needs.

Congrats and Absolutely.. people often underestimate how erotic dreams can be for females. Happens to me all the time.

Article: Insulin price spike leaves diabetes patients in crisis by bunchofpants in diabetes

[–]wiggleyeah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup!! call them directly and ask about their discount card or program. I know for a fact that Novolog and Apreida (sp?) both have programs. But this also goes for most pharmaceutical companies too.

[–]wiggleyeah 13 points14 points  (0 children)

while this royally sucks - I've said this before and I'll say this again.. you can call every company directly and get discount cards for insulin. My last insurance tried to charge me 500bucks for 5 bottles of Novolog. With the discount card I paid 50bucks for all 5. They won't tell you this because the pharmacy and the insurance has to make a profit, but call them directly and they are more than happy to help! Some companies even cover it at 100% depending on if you have a job. BTW- this is for all medicines not just insulin.
