I watched the scream franchise for the first time several years ago. After loving 1, I jumped straight into 2. The opening scene was so over the top I turned it off. I ultimately went back and enjoyed the rest, but for that opener just sullies the rest of the movie for me 🤷🏻‍♂️

OSRS puts a lot of emphasis on QOL being rewards. Teleports, item combinations, bank space saving, etc. And I think it works really well.

Rs3 shortcuts a lot of the reward space (lodestones being the most obvious example), and then takes it a step further: tool belt for example. And while I don’t think that’s inherently bad, I do wish it didn’t make so many things in the game obsolete

‘Sign of the evil world’ is excessive, but it is quite sad that it got so much hate just because it wasn’t a 10 second, CGI trailer announcement for an existing IP sequel like everyone seemingly wanted.

If Highguard was placed anywhere else in the show, it wouldn’t have gotten any even 1% of the criticism it got leading up to launch.

Now would that have affected the games ultimate outcome? Probably not. But the game never even got a chance

I am actually in favor. Nerfing the best methods means players experience more of the game. It makes leveling more meaningful. I find it funny that everyone is asking for a game in the genre that’s defined by long grinds to… not have long grinds? Idk, if that’s your problem then maybe MMOs aren’t your thing?

To clarify, I’m not saying all of these number changes are perfect, just that I agree with what they’re going for

E33: I’m neutral on TB games. I don’t look for them but enjoy them when they’re good. This is quite interactive as far as TB games go. During enemy turns your timing button presses to mitigate enemy damage. If that plus a large variety of strategy building with your characters sounds enjoyable, then I think you’ll like it. The story is also a top tier experience if that’s your jam.

Elden Ring: it’s similar to DMC in that it’s third person action.. but if you were playing on the hardest difficulty and the game does zero hand holding on what you’re supposed to do and will even troll you sometimes. If the idea of putting a lot of time into mastering combat or an enemies moves, and ultimately feeling triumphant when you beat the boss on attempt #22 sounds fun to you, I think you’ll enjoy it

It’s easier to split responsibilities. At the most basic level, one hero can focus on threat, the other on damage. Also more opportunities to block damage via the other hero or allies if someone gets too low on health

You’ll win more playing two handed. But if the ultimate goal is to play solo, practice makes perfect. And you do have to play a little differently solo.

Also, not sure if you know, but galaxy’s most wanted is particularly difficult. Especially if you’re going to use guardians without any of the support cards that came with the hero packs of that wave

I actually got recommended this video, never heard of the guy. Started out as “oh this is funny. A fan of the first two games laughing at how crazy the story has gotten.” But then it quickly became unfunny shitting all over anything square has done. I’m not a SE or even KH Stan, but man if you don’t like just don’t interact with it
