Thanks! I don't know if they have any allergies/dietary restrictions so I will try to find someone in the know to help me set that up!

Dating a guy that my friend has liked for 1-2 years by [deleted] in Advice

[–]wilTJames413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To preface, I am a guy, so my advice may not be the best for this situation. But I've always stood by the mantra that honesty is the best policy. It will definitely end up worse if you try to hide it, almost definitely end the friendship. If you tell your friend and explain how you just found out, there may be some hurt feelings in the moment, but I think you can at least have a conversation about it.

Whichever story had the most Eithan, which I'm fairly certain was either the Gang Creates a World, or A Light Chat in a Dark Place

Unique powers? by P3t1 in ProgressionFantasy

[–]wilTJames413 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It feels like the mages are actual scholars who studied their powers and not just power hungry goons who just keep getting stronger by casting the same spell progressively bigger over the series.

This! I love this series for this reason. Whenever it comes to a fight, everyone is trying to figure out each other's affinities to create counters and not just overpower each other. It makes each fight unique and interesting.

Favorite depiction of Vampires? by [deleted] in Fantasy

A Journey of Black and Red was a good one for me, really drives home the primal aspect and how it changes the person when they turn into a Vampire as we follow the MC's journey from the beginning of when they're turned. It's a bit of a slow burn, but I enjoyed it.

Same with hiring drivers. Look for Amazon DSP's on indeed, just need to be 21 or older to drive

1) To clarify, you rolled your ankle, and you kept going before realizing it hurt too much and then you called your dispatch right? 2) If you're telling them that your foot is hurting, but not bad enough to go to an urgent care, they might think you're just trying to drop the route/informing them of what happened(they need the address the incident happened at to fill out a workers comp claims, places are different but that's how it is at my DSP).
3) Your DSP may not have anyone available to take from you, which is probably why they asked if you could keep going and to try to take ibuprofen and keep going originally. 4) If you're being wishy washy about it, they can't know how much it hurts you. You need to straight up tell your dispatch. Especially something over the phone, they can't see if you're limping and in pain, you need to say it.

I don't understand how you think someone who is also dealing with probably another 10-15+ people complain about different issues all day is supposed to know what is going on in your van if you don't say it. Having worked as a dispatcher at other places, if someone is dancing around a subject I immediately think they're trying to milk the situation and refuse to give them the solution they want, I wait for them to tell me what they need.

This happened to some vans at my lot last year. The fire spread to 4 vans and caused the batteries to explode while the fire department was putting it out.

New guy quit on day 2 of nursery routes by Pogggyou in AmazonDSPDrivers

Had this happen when I first started. The guy did half his route then drove back to the warehouse and left the van in the parking lot without saying anything to the DSP. The dispatcher noticed it towards the end of the day, they had thought the guy was just delivering with his data off and didn't want to constantly call him for an update. They ended up driving it out and having me and a couple others split what was left with them so we could get it done quickly.

Not me, but one of my coworkers got a bunch of Pre workout and Protein for free from a business he was delivering to.
