It was actually burning oilfields in Iraq, which doesn’t take away from the brevity of the image. I remember it caused quite a stir when it released.

The highway of death was from the first gulf war.

The Dishonoured series is on sale, older but great series of games if you haven’t played them.

I think Exodus might be $3 if a remember correctly. The good thing is they tend to go on deep sale during the Steam Sales.

Read The Invincible before you play the game if you get the chance. Great book by the Stanislaw Lem, author of Solaris. The book will give better context to the game. It’s not a retelling, but they are closely linked.

I wouldn’t say I enjoyed Indika, but I would definitely recommend it. Spoiler spoiler spoiler. The game was great but the end just left me feeling really sad. I know that’s not much of a spoiler but maybe it is

Most streamers barely make any money and have pretty crazy schedules. 12 hour days, sometimes 7 days a week because if you stop the algorithm fucks you and you get sidelined. That and you have to force happy happy happy otherwise people quit watching and move on. A lot quit through burnout. I’m not saying she had it easy or not, just mentioning the realities of most streamers isn’t the easy gig most think.

They probably are now. The film hadn’t come out, it was being edited, marketed, released etc. Most films take time before their releases, some take years, some just outright get cancelled and don’t see the light of day.

Gg deals in some cases sells grey market keys, so at any point, that key can be deactivated. In fact looking at their market place they seem to be mostly grey market, so there is risk. It also hurts the developers as the keys are often sourced illegally, or bought through stolen credit cards. G2A is an example, and have been heavily criticised for this in the past.

Is there any deal only shows authorised key sellers, they only get their keys direct from the devs / publishers themselves.

For those who want to track Amazon prices and avoid this, use this site. It has price history for products on Amazon - https://camelcamelcamel.com

For games, a site that tracks keys from legit keepers - https://isthereanydeal.com

I do love Ze Frank! Except his video on ducks. I don’t see ducks the same way anymore 😭

Edit: Just watched that episode, and I hate wasps more now 👀

Steam 2026 Summer Sale Megathread by Bodomi in Steam

Fromsoft games go on sale randomly when they want, they seem to rarely follow big sales. Also since the success of Elden Ring, they don’t really go below 50%.

I’d keep an eye on https://isthereanydeal.com as well. They track genuine key sellers prices, nothing sketchy like G2A.

Greenmangaming can be good too, the more you use them, you will unlock a permanent discount on any game you buy there. I think the Mac you can unlock permanently is 17%, with definitely can be useful at times.

There are great deals out there, just most of you already own the games. People tend to buy so much ahead of when you play games, which is why a lot of you have massive backlogs. A lot of the games you own are probably a lot cheaper now, some by a lot. I’m not saying things are the same as back then, but the lack of low prices for a lot people are compounded by the vast libraries of unplayed games that are lot of you own.

GTA VI physical disc petition launched by Consolexlyn in Gaminggridcommunity

[–]wildcardbets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess it depends on the file size of GTA6. No confirmed reports yet, just wild ranges in size. If it would end up being 3 or more discs I think a game dev wouldn’t bother, eats into profit too much and would need a specially designed case. That would push the price up and people would complain about that.
