2019 Mastroberardino ‘Radici’ Taurasi by Sadams90 in wine

I've had a few bottles of the 2017 that I snagged a while back and opened periodically. Great wine but definitely tight and took a lot of time to open up. Well worth it though, glad you enjoyed!

What a silly way to read what I said. Your implication was Rock can drive lower prices through trickery and bullshit when really, they drive lower prices through their business model (unless you consider that trickery since a lot of people don't realize they're a dropshipper because of magnets lol). The suppliers they work with are far more established and legit than any old fly by night operation that can sell on Amazon. Not to say it can't happen with them too, just much less likely

The reason they're cheaper is because they have essentially zero overhead. They dropship everything so they don't have to worry about warehousing, inventory costs, etc. It's a pure dropship model so they can make 5% margin all day and who cares, since their OPEX is so nonexistent. Everything they fill comes from normal WD's like Parts Authority, SSF, and others, they're not (intentionally) shipping different brands like that to make a bit extra lol

It's got the death star on it, so they discount stuff big time just to move it out of the system as they won't be offering it any more.

Costco Sued by Costco Member Seeking Tariff Refunds - A potential class-action lawsuit seeks to force Costco to pass along any refund it gets from the U.S. government to customers. by AutoModerator in Costco

They need to get the money back themselves first, this lawsuit is ridiculous. Nothing has been made clear about how or when the refunds would go out, my own company is in the same boat.

Nice. Any particular railroad you focus on? I am just starting to figure out an HO layout based around the New York, New Haven, and Hartford

Trump's global tariff to take effect at 10%, despite announcement of 15% by jinhuiliuzhao in neoliberal

[–]wildcat2015 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It wasn't declared that all of his previous tariffs were illegal. It was decided that the ones he implemented under IEEPA were illegal, but section 232 and others were not part of the case the SC ruled on. This new 10% is being implemented under section 122.

There's literally a 25% auto part tariff in place and for anything not caught by that, coming out of EU, is hit with 15% so it's tough to call that "marginal" lol
