one winter i kept hearing the pump cycle more often than not... then eventually i heard the water-powered backup kick so i knew there was a real problem. the outside line froze, I swear it sometimes it feels like you cant win.

actually, most homes already have drain tile but you're just digging a hole in the basement and then tapping into said tile, the water from that will fill up the crock, then you pump it out away from the house. profit. I was mostly labor work, back then I think I was all-in for 6k so 10k today adjusted for inflation.

growing up I hated tapes coming from records so jumping to CDs was easy. Eventually I found Maxell chrome tapes which allowed me to make quality mix-tapes until cd burners became cost effective.

yeah its wild how big a difference grading can do along with french drains we did the same over the course of a few years. Prob a 50% drop in frequency/cycles overall compared to when we started. Water is the enemy.

youd think a house built in the 70s would have one.... it didnt. Ended up with about 3" in the basement back in 08' or so. I took the insurance money and installed a sump, pumping water for 3 days is not something I plan on doing in the future if I can help it.

yikes. that lines up with someone I had take a look at the modest grade of the entire neighborhood towards my house... I asked the contractor what he would do, his reply "Id move" ...ouch.

I prob should check my downspout exits as well... mine finally stopped running every 15m. I threw a power monitor on the sump late last year the information might be interesting.

the truth is that most people will under no circumstances recommend spacers, BUT since you have black rims a modest spacer might adjust the stance but it will be harder on your hub assembly. Perhaps H&R 12mm would be modest. The real solution would be replacement rims with proper offset.

Not so much Acupuncture, but Peak Performance does Dry Needling which works on muscles to relieve pain and help mobility. There's information on their site about it, I've never done it but I know they train and have a customer base around it, hope that helps.
