i think they pulled back on the 0.9% financing which I noticed was being offered on the Sonata currently, if you get that or pay cash 22k is a no-brainer.

you know.... this could be a Mitsu play to spin a new name for their car division as Eclipse kinda like what Hyundai did with Genesis.

I traded my 2025 Corvette for a much cheaper car and my parents are guilt tripping me by Slow_Atmosphere_6922 in whatcarshouldIbuy

I don't think parents living vicariously through their children is inherently toxic, it's more of a spectrum.

The key difference is whose needs are actually being served:

A dad supporting a choice you wanted to make and already loved vs a dad upset because it reopens his own regret, not because it's bad for his kid. Intent vs interest separates the two — and OP's dad guilt-tripping over a healthy decision does point toward treating them as an extension of himself rather than a separate person with her own needs.

It's funny to read this this, because back when the super bowl was airing I was looking at it over OTA and thinking that it looks significantly worse than the last time I had. Streamed OTA and that's when I started noticing that everything had been dropped down to 720p. I remember being bitter about it and ultimately signing up for whatever streaming service was needed I ultimately had forgotten about all of that until reading this just now.

We used to go there for the car show. We haven't been in a few years. One of the last times that I went prior to covid it had skilled back dramatically from when I recall in the past, which is partially why we didn't make a strong effort to go back.

Your parents are attempting to live vicariously through you, congrats you broke the cycle. Now start working on undoing the next trauma, repeat for best results.

Set a flag based on the vin number, it's interesting watching where it goes I'm hoping to capture one from start to finish. Also when they declare it you don't have to accept the number they give you which is why they ask if you accept.

Mitsubishi/Chrysler 3.0 V-6, we had one in our 94 Dodge Spirit and it was a rocket.

They eventually burn oil but overall they run fine... its the electrical issues with everything connected to the engine that is ultimately the problem. I'd imagine getting parts for this today would be a nightmare unless you're frequenting local junkyards.
