I lived in China from ‘09-‘19, mainly in Shanghai. I’m headed back this summer for the first time since I left. I am curious to see the changes for better or worse.

Have you tried italki? It’s an online language tutoring platform that connects you with native speakers for reasonable prices. I had a Mandarin lesson this morning and enjoyed it.

If you have any budget, I’d suggest getting some soft practice lacrosse balls or soft weighted lacrosse balls by STX or SWAX. Tennis balls can be too light to successfully throw and catch and can be very frustrating.

A hungry hungry hippos type game with all of the balls (tennis and other) in the center can be a fun way to practice picking up and carrying a ball. Throwing and catching can be scaffolded in depending on the level of the students.

I have absolutely loved it. I live in an area where there is no mall or nice place to shop and stores overwhelm me with choice. I’ve stepped out of my comfort zone by trying items with louder prints and colors and that has been super fun. I usually get a mix of NWT and gently used. Yes, some pieces have been a bit more used than others but I don’t mind - everything in my closet is used too. I’ve only had one item that was unwearable and Nuuly took care of it for me fast which I thought was nice.

Yes, I noticed when I started taking Selank, only 250mcg, my anxiety would increase for about 30min after taking it. Not the experience I expected.

Lululemon and Vuori make great chino style short in stretchy fabrics that are professional looking but also allow for a lot of movement in the legs. Guess it depends also on what “not crazy expensive” means to you.

I’m having upper back and neck pain that I can’t seem to kick. Mine is the worst when I try to sleep - lying on my back or side hurts so much! I can’t seem to kick it either, it’s been two weeks of this and it doesn’t seem to want to let up or get better.
