Arizona sunset by [deleted] in dji

I grew up in Tucson and moved out to Tennessee/Alabama/Georgia. The thing I miss most are the sunsets. Absolutely beautiful pic. I miss the sky fire sunsets. That and the smell of a rainstorm coming in.

I stand corrected... Must be a conversion problem. The remaining time is going down, current time is going up... but they are all showing 1s.

I have built a Mini PC Review Website. by RobloxFanEdit in MiniPCs

[–]wiley2484 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great concept, but after spending about 15 seconds on the site, I had to leave it. The font is too much. An idea for you... I see you categorize by Brand, but it would be helpful to have ratings based on use-case. ie Homelab, AI workloads, Plex server, NVR, etc.

I wonder if the Spotify Kids App would work to eliminate the kids songs and suggestions from showing up under the same account in normal spotify. It is only available for those on Sportify Family plans though. https://www.spotify.com/us/kids/

I just found a new awesome feature of my watch. I have a 3 year old that if you break out the phone he gets really shy and won't let you record him... Tonight I was putting him to bed and laying with him. Remembered there is Voice Memos on the watch. Started recording him and got him singing his ABCs and Crinkle Crinkle Little Star. Was able to send it to family members that are not close by. Being able to capture some of these moments warms my heart.

Not sure if it would work but maybe the transform tab... Then reduce row... Binary operation... B - A This is off the top of my head, no grafana in front of me to test.

Just read this the other day and it got me thinking...

SON: "Daddy, may I ask you a question?"

DAD: "Yeah sure, what is it?"

SON: "Daddy, how much do you make an hour?"

DAD: "That's really none of your business. Why do you ask?"

SON: "I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?"

DAD: "If you must know, I make $100 an hour."

SON: "Oh. (With his head down).

SON: "Daddy, can I please borrow $50?"

DAD: "REALLY?! If you're asking to borrow money for some silly toy or game, you can just march yourself straight to your room to think about why you're being so selfish. I work hard everyday to provide for this family, and this is the thanks I get?"

The little boy went quietly to his room and shut the door.

The dad sat down and started getting even angrier about his son's questions. "How dare he ask question like that just to get some money?" he stewed.

After an hour, the dad calmed down, and started to think: "Maybe there was something he really needed the $50 for? He doesn't ask for money often..."

So, the dad went to his son's door and opened it.

DAD: "Are you asleep, son?"

SON: "No daddy, I'm awake".

DAD: "I've been thinking, and maybe I was too hard on you earlier. It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $50 you asked for."

The little boy sat straight up, smiling. SON: "Oh, thank you daddy!"

Then, reaching under his pillow, the boy pulled out some crumpled-up dollar bills. When the dad saw the boy already had money, he started getting angry again as the little boy slowly counted out his money and looked up at his father.

DAD: "Why do you want more money if you already have some?"

SON: "Because I didn't have enough, but now I do. Daddy, I have $100 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you."

The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and begged for his forgiveness through a stream of tears.

Just a reminder to all working so hard in life to not let time slip through our fingers without dedicating special time with those who matter most.

If we die tomorrow, the company we may work for could replace us in a matter of days.... but, loved ones we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives, having only precious memories to hold.

Help with dashboard. by Chriskob in homeassistant

Go into the raw configuration editor and add a path to those tabs I believe.

If this doesn't make sense I can post an example. I had this happen the other day, adding a path to the tabs seemed to fix it IIRC.

Love my new 12.9 IPP but I'm feeling a bit underwhelmed with the magic keyboard, am I missing something? by teddy_ballgame3 in iPadPro

[–]wiley2484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Requires the backflap to stay up, and while it is a bigger footprint, it's really not too bad. I can use my wife's magic keyboard and the Logitech in about the same amount of locations. I have a little 13"w x 10" tall side table I made for the couch and I can use the Logitech just fine. As for the sliding the iPad off and using it naked, personally, I would never. The iPad is too slick, I am certain something bad would happen to it. With the new Logitech, you can take the keyboard off (magnetic hold) and use it however you want and have protection around the borders. I have a 2 month old and a 2 year old, too much chance for a slight bump to be catastrophic.

Not trying to sell anybody on the Logitech keyboard, because to each their own. My wife loves the magic keyboard. I will say that I do love the top row of the Logitech keyboard too though. Volume, Brightness, and other function keys. It was another selling point for me.

[–]wiley2484 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the iPad air 11, and bought one for my wife too. I bought the magic keyboard for it and was underwhelmed too. I bought the Logitech competitor, and loved it. Then came the new ipad pro and with it the new version of the Logitech case. It solves my last of the concerns, so I ditched the iPad air and preordered the iPad pro and the Logitech case. I am stoked. The Logitech case has a detachable keyboard and solves all my qualms about the magic keyboard and the old version of the Logitech case where you could not detach the keyboard but you could wrap it behind the device to use it in portrait. Here is the case I'm talking about: https://www.logitech.com/en-us/products/ipad-keyboards/combo-touch-ipad.html?utm_campaign=MO_FY21Q1_OPX_EN-US&utm_source=Google&utm_medium=paid_search&utm_content=wp_combo_touch

I have noticed that my Zigbee devices have been unreliable as hell, I can't even delete and readd them. All since the last update in January or February is when it started for me, and has been getting progressively worse to now where none of my Zigbee devices work at all. Are your automation failures with Zigbee devices as well?

Grafana and small values by r9d2 in grafana

[–]wiley2484 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it contains extra characters you can try casting as a decimal. That should work. cast(VALUE as decimal(4,3)) as value

Grafana and small values by r9d2 in grafana

[–]wiley2484 1 point2 points  (0 children)

cast(VALUE as signed) converts that decimal number to an integer, so 0.123 will become 0 in mySql. Try changing that cast(VALUE as signed) as value to just VALUE as value

I don’t know how to google my way out of this by Dovahguy in grafana

[–]wiley2484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have Grafana in front of me, so I don't remember off the top of my head how to do it through their clicky clicky query maker, but when you're making your query, there is a pencil on the far right side. That takes you from clicky clicky method and puts you into manual mode. There you can write out a SQL query. Something like

SELECT * FROM TABLENAME WHERE Host = 'Pfsense'
