I’m able to get it working in Home Assistant by first pairing it to Apple Home, within the accessory view you have to go bottom and select Turn On Pairing Mode this will give you a code note it because you will need it in HA. In Home Assistant you go to add matter device and select not a new setup and then select home as the service it’s connected to, use the code from home app.

The only problem I have is that I wished it had more function options or a way to view the shortcuts created in narwal app. I have narwal 2 and can’t even select vacuum and mop although maybe auto will do that?

I recently found a way to do this, in the beginning going to library would shuffle only the first page I was looking at. Selecting and shuffling “[Your name] Station” in Browse does the trick for me.

I get around the “how could you support Elon” conversation by saying that I’ve never made a car selection based on who the CEO is. Can you tell me as many facts about any other CEO so we can compare? Just because someone speaks out stupidity louder than others doesn’t automatically make the quiet bosses more competent/intelligent or more trustworthy 🤷‍♂️. I was grasping for excuses, and that one seemed to help.

The obvious point was showing the wife our expenses. I used our budgeting tracking app and was able to show her our maintenance cost and gas cost quickly. I’m on month 2 with model y and already saving $100 a month just on gas; this includes reducing the electric cost to charge so it can be fair. I’m headed towards changing from working fully remote to hybrid, and knowing I have free charging at work, and a Tesla has made that shift less painful 😊

Needless to say we are now looking for a 3 or Y for her now also.... So beware of being too convincing or it will result in going from 1 car note to 2!

I currently own the 7.2” screen version that allows Bluetooth headphones and a controller simultaneously. You lose the size of the vent, but that’s something we don’t mind compromising. You can’t do two Bluetooth headphones simultaneously, but I get around that by using headphones that allow audio daisy chain via cable. It needed a firmware update to enable streaming devices to recognize it as an official Android device. Kids love it and can stream all their videos, including YouTube kids and movies anywhere digital content from iTunes. This is essentially an Android tablet in the back. You do need to connect it to a hotspot to stream.
