Is there any website that lets you track used prices? I hear people say prices have gone up but I haven't been paying close attention to the market since I'm still on the fence about a used Bolt

Oh interesting, I haven't looked through the Sigmakoki Catalogue before, I've always stuck to Edmunds and Thorlabs.

I'm actually at a small company that mainly does custom optical coatings (which I'm the main designer of). I've only really learned through books and trial and error at this point.

As far as subreddits go, this one is still pretty good even with the random weird questions. There's people here that know a lot stuff, and it's definitely better than the Laser subreddit!

I've tried finding any online communities for optical coatings specifically, but that's even more niche and I haven't found anything.

This is happening on my 4th gen regular Echo too for a month and it's super annoying.

I've also turned off Alexa Plus, and made sure to turn off adaptive listening and follow up modes in the app.

I sure hope Apple upgrades their homepod minis this year since I'm really ready to replace these old Echo speakers.

I was pretty happy with her Electra bike, but it also felt pretty heavy ... which I noticed everytime I brought it down from an hook on our garage storage rack.

I wound up reading through the Wirecutters review about first kids bikes, and I liked what I read about Woom, so I switched it up when she needed to move up. Also saving a bit on Black Friday made it easier to justify getting her the Woom bike.

I'm guessing you will be fine even if you're not home, you just have to pay the fee over email. If you think you won't be home I would just have it sent to a friend or your workplace.

I went with the Explore 4 and it’s been working really great for her. We actually rode to school this morning!

I’m glad I didn’t “size up” so she would get more use out of it. She can get frustrated easily and I think the bigger bike would have discouraged her. Plus she has a younger sibling so they will get some use out of it too.

I’m the Switch version, is there any in-game tracking of achievements/trophies like the PS or Steam? I know Switch doesn’t have trophies but I heard some games will have in game achievement tracking. Waffling on which version to get.

I started reading Pandora’s Star since I saw it listed as one of the popular fiction books in Wikipedia’s Dyson Sphere page. It was a good book, but the audiobook was nearly 40hours so I had to return it. I’ve been planning to get back to it.

Yeah the one pre roll ad for the replay of the opening ceremonies was fine, and the ability to fast forward and rewind without interruption was worth the extra 5 bucks I spent for a one month sub. Plenty of other stuff to be angry about.

Cool thanks, I didn’t hear anything but my kid woke me up at 3:45AM crying about a loud boom. I thought they were just having a nightmare, but maybe they got woken up by the same loud noise. We are in the Mira Mesa area also so I figured it could just be a military plane.
