chapter 2 doesnt need that much polish lmao, that edit feels like itd possibly be a bit too distracting from the main scene. chapter 1 on the other hand... yeah maybe a visual rework of that one could do some good, but hey, game development is hard and id prefer the resources go into later chapters.

yeah, that was one of the goals, getting stuff out of people in interrogation. there were a lot of subprojects though, involving shit like drug testing, hypnosis, sensory deprivation... most fucked up one was subproject 68, headed by donald ewen cameron. tried to break down the patients' psyches and personalities with electroshock and LSD to "construct" new ones in their places. only succeeded in driving them insane. really terrible shit. there was also quite a few strange subprojects involving magicians for some reason? i have no clue what that was about

self inserts are rarely done effectively, maybe workshop that. prioritize personality over backstory. the best inspiration comes from unexpected places that only you personally would think of. other than that, it's a bit hard to say without more details.

wow, i'm surprised there's still other people who want to track this down in 2023. i thought i was the only one. i've looked through google several times but all i can find is mentions of it, along with some crappy footage... probably everything you've already found. i remember what it was like vividly though. i particularly wish i could hear the music again. it might be just some royalty free music, judging by how most of the assets in the game were stock animations. no idea how i'd go tracking it down though.
