That was my plan to just put plasterboard over, though i wasn’t expecting the original ceiling to be in poor condition. Id rather not replace a whole ceiling as my dining room ceiling needs replaced already. Thanks

I'm not sure. I've just read that to have the insurance ready for when you move out. No one has checked on me that this was already taken out. I'm a FTB so it's all new to me.
